    Personally I'd love to see us progress to the point where it was possible to grow just the meat itself without the animal.

    They have that its called Tofu.... honestly I don't see how you could "grow" meat.

    90% of the people on the road don't go the speed limit.

    This is true and depending when and where you are driving, going the speed limit could very well put you in more danger then speeding to keep up with traffic.

    Have you ever tried to manage a 40 person raid? Now try and imagine managing 80 people... In most raids all it takes is 1 person to fuck up and wipe everyone. Dealing with 40 people is bad enough, let's not get crazy now.

    I used to mange 72 people raids in everquest, back when there was no spiffy raid tool, and btw back then god help you if one of your raid members screwed up the whole raid died (80% of the time).

    another work around is open up notepad and save a cmd.bat file with the text cmd.exe and presto you have command prompt

    It only really helps if you have a monitor capable of insanely high resolutions, like 2560x1600. Otherwise anything you'd be displaying is essentially CPU-bound.

    Take my setup of two monitors I can run resolutions at 2560 x 1024 and 3200 x 2400, do I for gaming, no I stick to 1280 x 1024 but I could some people easily doing two projectors running at it if they got the cash to spend it.

    Does it install simply by browsing, or does it need to open an .exe? Or do you install it like a normal extension?
    If it's #1, it's bad
    If it's #2, not so bad - a simple virus
    If it's #3 - hey, who install extension from non-oficial sources?


    Does this user not RTFA? Or is he trying to just get karma? Or where they just trying to get a first post?

    I could be wrong but I thought their first card to have a GPU was the Geforce 3.

    I was close It seems the first one was Geforce_256 which did not do well because of cost and lack of performance in non-gaming applications. Seems like the idea took off once they introduced it again in the Geforce 2. If you want to read more about it some information can be found here.

    I think NVidia needs to get into the processor market themselves.
    GPU = Graphics Processing Unit.

    AFAIK, they've been in the processor business since they launched their first graphics card. :p


    I could be wrong but I thought their first card to have a GPU was the Geforce 3.

    Verant and 989 Studios actually.... Verant created the game and 989 published it. (for the price of $9.89/month) SOE simply bought the rights and continued the game.

    I'm not a Sony Fanboi by any measure, but I can't support Microsoft's XBox. It's a moral dilemma for me, so I will most likely be purchasing a PS3. Nintendo makes a fun system, but it's not for me. I want a serious game console. Micro-payments and add-on equipment put a serious distaste in my mouth.


    And if you talk to any Everquest players they will tell you the game went down hill after scars of velious once *drumroll* sony took over...

    From what I've seen in life, kids who have over-protective pearents telling them exactly how they should live their life, grow up to be very dull people.

    While this is true, they usually do live successful lives. Just because someone is dull is not such a bad thing. The only downside I have seen is if something bad happens in there life they don't know how to deal with it because everything should go as they planed.

    Gamespot, IGN and 1UP all provide free low quality streams and downloads, however we are reduced to having to pay to access high quality trailers and press conference screenings. Why is this?
