if accessed through a third party modification to the PC version of the game, allows the user to play with topless versions of female characters,' said the ESRB in a release.
Wouldn't it be less perverted for a child to look at pornographic images of someone who is his own age than an adult looking at those same images?
TBH... I'm not sure how to anwser that I was thinking about this eariler, When I look at porn, its usally teen's 19-23, but I'm 20 years of age. Does that mean when I'm 40 I'm going to be looking at mature porn, or will I actually not have the need because I will be hopefully married? (cue the nerd jokes) What are some other slashdoters oppion?
One thing I'm surprized is that the RIAA/MPAA haven't tried to shut down the P2P programs with the goverment saying that they harbor child pornography.
One thing I'm surprized is that the RIAA/MPAA haven't tried to shut down the P2P programs with the goverment saying that they harbor child pornography. It is simply amazing what bullshit laws you can get passed if you play it off that it is in the best interest of the "children". But, dear god forbid some of the parents actually pay attention to what their kids are doing....
I have been using Linux as my OS of choice for a year now and am willing to admit I'm far from being an experienced Linux user. The main thing that helped me when starting to use Linux was Google. If I didn't have Google I don't think I would have solved most of my problems. From what I have seen any problems that I had there where already tons of information out on the web answering these questions if you looked and didn't take the easy way out and post without even trying to search for it on the internet.
So says you. Have you ever seen recent Mac hardware from nearby (and I mean recent as in less than five years old)? It's not just beautiful, it's solid and durable. Look inside one and the attention to detail seems immediately obvious. I have never seen a PC box or laptop that comes close, although some try.
Have you ever seen a toughbook....we ran over one with a 5 ton and it didn't even turn off, I want to see an Apple computer do that!
The Revolution looks promising in it's own way, but if it can't pick up a decent marketshare then all of the gimmiks in the world won't save it
Usually Nintendo's best games are made by Nintendo so I don't see that even being a problem. Look at N64, not many third party games, but in my opinion the system was awesome, include that it was only $150 at launch.
The article goes on to speculate that 'the days of multi-console ownership may be coming to an end for many gamers' based on the Xbox 360 and the PS3 prices.
This is why I think the Nintendo Revolution will really take off. I've come to the conclusion that I am done with consoles and moved 100% to the PC. If I'm going to spend a lot of money on something that will entertain me I want it to have something that I can use for other then entertainment. Which is why I'm much happier buying a PC. Yet Nintendo's game consoles are cheap enough for me to pick-up and not feel like I wasted a ton of money on it if I only play it once a week at most.
Meh, what a waste of a CD. And time. I suppose maybe if I can get up a virtual drive as an image writer and then go back through and rip it, it'd be something. But meh, I'll stick to, uhh, other acquisitions. As to Playfair/(j)HYMN, I hope you bought your tracks with iTunes 5 or earlier.
Actually there is an easier way you can use a program called tuneabite which plays the file in Itunes (or WMP) at 4x its normal speed while recording it and making a.mp3 file and transferring the ID Tags to the new.mp3...
Let's put an insecure OS on a beautiful machine and see if we can break it. Of course, this is only a lead in to making software that will be put on a CD to destroy a system if left in the CD drive and the user is told it will do something positive to their machine. OK, it will require social engineering and a upset worker in a software company to put this on a CD. OK, there are no IT people that get upset at company they work for. What was I thinking...
You Sir, are why I don't hate Macs just Mac Users....
I'm assuming you haven't used Windows in awhile. IE6, DirectX, and WMP are all built into WindowsXP.
I'm assuming you haven't used Windows in awhile. First you need to download there new patch system, then download there new "genuine advantage" thing. Reboot then download the patches you need, and god help you if your install disk is without SP 2.....
I've played games that require Starforce 3...namely X3 and PoP:T2T.
I can say that anyone willing to go through the required process to break these games has no life. Basicly, these games require a special piece of (illigal) software, and then, you have to physically unplug your IDE CD-ROM drive power cable. Every time you want to play
That's something not many people are willing to go through, thus, Starforce is doing a good job. Now, read TFA, and notice that they are doing a little too good of a job; namely, harming legit systems. It's a mess.
Have you ever used daemon tools......? Its actually quite simple...
Bingo...

Um you work for the US? I'm stuck always using Microsoft products.... as an USMC network admin.
Beat the game using intial weapons, no materia, and no accessorys.. and you would see yuffie is one of the most important characters!
no I don't have a girlfriend... why do you ask?
I'm not following you. What does being married have to do with not looking at porn?
/shrug
Well right now when, I have a girlfriend (who I activlly have sex with)I don't look at porn...but
Wouldn't it be less perverted for a child to look at pornographic images of someone who is his own age than an adult looking at those same images?

Never mind seems like they already have.
Will someone please think of the children?

Well duh! Of course it's the arrogant users that are keeping people from trying Linux. That's precisely the reason why I use a Mac.
I'm not sure if that was sarcastic or an honest statement. Can you please include the tag next time?

Only 10% of slashdot readers read past the third post!
I think the amount of Danish websites that got hacked was higher then 58.... so wtf is TFA talking about?

Why doesn't Microsoft just tell people to switch to Ubuntu and use Firefox? It would save them a hassle and a lot of work.
Maybe because they like money?
