I mean, what else could you possibly hang earrings off... your privates? I don't have any privates under my command, but I heard they really frown upon that in the army.
What's wrong with unremoved splinters? I discovered the other day I had a tiny one in my finger, that's why it had been tender for a few months before. I removed it and everything's fine now, but your post suggests they were/are a problem?
TF2 is the best looking game I've seen in a while, and it's not realistic. That's a big part of why it's so much fun. I've died numerous times from standing around looking at stuff:(
This is caused because the brain processes details about lighting, color, illumination, etc. Otherwise you'd see a piece of white paper with a shadow on it and think that the piece was half black and half gray. I don't remember what this phenomenon is called (I thought it was color persistence, but it apparently isn't). Also, most insects/small animals lack it, so they would perceive the same object under different lighting as a different object.
Maybe it's useless for this particular implementation, but what if someone creates a site that allows you to buy items/services (such as songs) for a fixed fee (say $1) with one click while you're browsing? That'll be useful, but in comes this patent and that site can't use their system any more.
Maybe some flamebait or troll would come along and steer the discussion towards iPhones getting their data deleted in current update if they are unlocked. Wait, that can really happen? I was planning on updating, but now I won't!
Yeah, that's crap. That means they prefer to sue people than being paid money. And don't tell me that they'd lose more than they gained, a levy on EVERY recording media is more than they imagine (and know) they're losing.
With the white ear buds that come with the iPod in a normal listening environment, there is virtually no perceivable sound quality difference between a downloaded 128kbs that has been ripped to mp3 and the original cd file. You're a professional musician and you can't tell the difference between a 128 kbps mp3 and something in 320 on the iPod?
This action is akin to putting a finger in the dyke, but there are thousands, if not millions of other holes. I would appreciate it if you could point me to the direction of an available one.
What are you talking about? 128k MP3s sound like crap with the worst headphones you can buy. I'd like to see you do the double-blind test with the iPod headphones and tell me the results, I seriously doubt you won't be able to tell the difference. You probably have never noticed it and thus don't care about it, but when you DO notice it it will haunt you forever, and all your MP3s will be at least 192 (or Vorbis) for everafter.
Do you ever wonder if all the great discoveries that spurred the progress of humanity were done by people who weren't getting laid?
I mean, obviously the ones that were were busy having sex.
Man, capitalize names. I got all sorts of things in my mind when I read about your EtheRape program...

Well, he WASN'T saying that the problem is memory. A better analogy would be him saying that you have a broken rib without a stethoscope.

I'm all for "Slightly Ajar Source".
Save a language today! Buy a dictionary!
What happened in MW3? Double deaths and the like?

I have the same card and res as the GP and TF2 gets 80ish fps, with spikes up to 100.
I... was actually being facetious, sorry for the confusion there :/ I'm Greek and in Greece.
I would answer your question but I have a feeling you won't read it, since this comment is also made in China!
You do realize that if Amazon hears about this they'll sue /. for all they've got, right?!

Next time I'll include the tag...
You will be able to give away (sell?) the duplicate games you already have.
The pack also contains HL2 and episode 1, don't forget those. Honestly, I think TF2 alone is worth $45, it's the most fun I've ever had gaming.
Why haven't they disbarred him yet?
Aaaand, I replied to myself. I rest my case.
