Actually on the page I linked, there is only a single mouse that is usable by a left handed person (if you want SOME quality in your mouse), and its not even a top end mouse, just a basic form-fitting laser. Plus, the Righties have forced me to use a right handed mouse for so long that I have to relearn how to HOLD the mouse with my left hand. I've tried using photoshop, and while I can draw/paint really well with my left hand, Its extremely frustrating to just try to interface with that program with the stuff I have available with either my left or right hand. I know, a tablet is on my list for an upcoming purchase, but they ARE expensive.
Shadowgrounds was pretty good... until the ending. Man they REALLY messed that up so badly that I was pretty much cracking up while watching the end credits.
My next pair of pants will have a Faraday cage. Or utilikilt, as that's what I'm wearing nowadays. As a side bonus it keeps the TSA guys with xray goggles from looking there too! I know I'm good looking, but if I WANTED them to see me that's what the kilt is for.
The Star Wars blasters fire a special super-heated gas that they mine the materials for in places like bespin. The most noteworthy feature is that the gas doesn't disperse much when moving through the atmosphere.
Yea, I have to agree with you there. Taking History of Art, that DRM is a bitch to decode, and were just left with wild guesses and interpretive dance.
I did check the Wikipedia article, and it just said something about how Einstien was still alive and that the effects of Bose-Einstien condensation had tripled over the last year...
Are you sure you are reading from the correct encyclopedia? You should probably check the article on uncyclopedia to be sure....
Really all you need is something that can withstand a 7.62 NATO round, as anything with more penetration is heavy, rare, unwieldy and definately not automatic. The suit should also be able to respond reactively to any such fire and neutralize it (Computer capabilities in the suit would be enormous with the equivalent of a cell processor 10 years advanced [360 cores eh?] and a real time operating system). RPGs could be actually shot down in single shots from the suit after picking off the guy who fires it.
Actually 30 minutes for a supported combat air drop could be pretty useful. 30 minutes of human mobility tank could be used to sieze a drop zone or helecoptor landing site. After that you lose the strength and mobility on the suit, but you still have the heavy weapons and special forces soldiers in those suites on site. Getting the suites OUT may be a problem, and the entrance is anything but subtle, but if you are going for real "shock-and-awe" type of assault a powered suit like that would be pretty good.
Marked fragile. Its much safer and certainly more relaxing. Sure shipping costs 500, but mailmen don't point guns at you, don't do cavity searches, and don't search your laptop for porn.
Potentially Arab looking guy here, I've given up on planes. For the last couple months its been the train (not available everywhere), the car (I hate driving), or FedEx.
I always thought that a space elevator would probably be somewhere in the Pacific Ocean, and you wouldn't have just restricted airspace but an aircraft carrier and assorted escorts protecting the structure. There would be no airplanes flying into the elevator.
I think this is the first news from/about Sony that I've seen in a year that wasn't negative.

I always want more ways to do freehand computer interfaces because I am considered disabled by the fascists who design high end interface devices.
The Righties keepin'us down.

I always wondered how you slit a sacrifice's throat with a mallet.

My dad teaches for the environmental science badge. I think it's 2 hours a week on weekends, and I've seen college courses that were easier.
Microsoft has come out with DRM enabled bras?
This company needs an enema!
That product already exists
iAnal is probably the UI for the iBrator

This is why we do in in Blue Ray!

Don't worry, they will probably dupe this article on Oct. 1, twice, to make up for it.
Once on October 2nd. And then again in November... of 2007.
What I really want to know is if we are getting multiplayer code for Darwinia.
Its LRM. Living Rights Management.
Of course, the first person who tries to explain to me why its a good thing gets a shotgun shell in the face...

By making it look "techy", it gets featured on Slashdot! Seriously,it has helped spread the show.
I know, I downloaded it on Bit Torrent ad free already!

I hear black is the new beige these days.

"Junk DNA" sounds like some of the code I've seen. Nobody knows what it is, or what it does, but nothing works right without it.
