actually, online games are extremely far from saturating your connection. Or atleast, when I net_graph Counter Strike: Source on my favourite server it says I have a 15KB/s down and a 10KB/s up, that's with a ping of about 50. because of that I've successfully had 5 computers playing CS:S before the lag became a detriment to player performance.
Oh, for the record my connection cap is about 150KB/s down and 50KB/s up. Also, I'm not certain which case of 'B' or 'b' to be using in my measurements, but I know that whichever b it is, I've used it consistantly.
from their blog yesterday it seems that the models are in early stage and are missing their cell shading. It was also said that they included the 3d in the trailer just so that people wouldn't think it was an entirely 2d game.
With that said I'll be in line to support them as well.
Whoosh. Of all games ever made I'd say this series takes itself the least seriously. Coming from such a high and mighty society that you obviously do, I'd think that you were aware of the concept of tongue-in-cheek. Well minor quips aside I'll just say that I think you picked the wrong GH to start out with. The setlist of GH1 was much more entertaining to non-gamers and gamers alike. It is unfortunate because the extra features added in GH2 would have made GH1 much better.
. . . But wasn't it just a few weeks to about 3 years ago when EVERYONE was entirely pissed off that all the game developers were only making sequels? Why this sudden change of heart, "Wait, now we need MORE sequels!!!!11"?
and here I thought the standard for tagging was for the first person to agree or disagree with the headline, then the next has to immediately disagree with the first person. 5 minutes down the line if no one has added another tag, the third must disgree with BOTH the first and the second poster. Finally, a serious slashdotter will show up to add a relevant tag, followed by the oh so frequent itsatrap and slownewsday tags.
that's funny, I rigged my deadman's switch to do some gold farming in World of Warcraft. . . When I'm gone, someone will have to put my kids through college!
. . . that the Nintendo Wii seems to be overly protective of my well being. Every time you go to use the damn thing it'll warn you about seizures, ask you to wear the wrist strap and fasten it securely to your wrist, hell, it even tells you to take a break and go outside after every couple of Wii Sports matches you do. I honestly don't know of any where in the instructions or warranties that asks you politely to "Throw the remote at about 60mph directly at your television, making sure to let go of the remote at the end of your swing."
If only the photosensitive seizure warnings were accompanied with a "warning: don't be an overly retarded douchebag who doesn't actually read any of the instructions, then blame your retardedness and douchebaggery on those aforementioned instructions." Why, Nintendo? Why?

CS1.6 -- hardcore players -- playing for 48 hours a day (cheeto/mountain dew time compression)
CS:S -- both hardcore and softcore players -- playing maybe 1 to 3 hours a day
