But just to clarify for those taking this literally: there are many different sets of criteria for free electronic filing, and they change yearly. I didn't qualify in 2002 but I did for 2003 (and it was because my income was above a certain range), so it's worthwile to check.
Of course, any decent government wouldn't charge ANYONE to pay their taxes. Grr.
I have had email addresses shut off for months at a time, with no reduction in spam. Listen to what his SPECIFIC circumstances are:
...our Institute decided to upgrade the Exchange mail server to the latest version. Hence the mail server was shut down for approximately 2 days/48 hours... Now I am receiving 'only' (!) 5-6 spam mails everyday!
Which is more likely: taking the mail server offline caused the spam reduction, or the upgrade involved adding a spam filter?
Who would those be? The Time Lords?

I don't know. Richard Linklater might just get it right. Waking Life was not "visually realistic" and this probably shouldn't be either.
I would like to see a study done on this, to see how close that claim really is. It would win an Ig-Nobel for sure :)

Chicago's i-go-cars has 16 members but 750 vehicles?

Heh. Rappists.
Tsk tsk. Read up on your geek history :)
Maxima (formerly macsyma) is a nifty tool I use. Command-line and GUI versions are available at the site, but the Emacs mode is much better looking.
I sure hope so. As a Sharks With Frikkin Laser Beams (SWFLB) contractor, I depend on such sources to earn a living.

Or a torrent, that would be even better.
Thanks!
He also had a hand in writing Slashcode, and he added a sneaky piece of code that makes some stories appear twice.
Like this one, for example.
