    You're certainly correct in spirit :)

    But just to clarify for those taking this literally: there are many different sets of criteria for free electronic filing, and they change yearly. I didn't qualify in 2002 but I did for 2003 (and it was because my income was above a certain range), so it's worthwile to check.

    Of course, any decent government wouldn't charge ANYONE to pay their taxes. Grr.

    "Cheap Trick says" is American, and "the band say" is British. Wikipedia even uses a band as their example :)

    Check to see if what you're reading uses other British-isms like advertise and colour. I suspect it does.

    Maxima (formerly macsyma) is a nifty tool I use. Command-line and GUI versions are available at the site, but the Emacs mode is much better looking.

    I have had email addresses shut off for months at a time, with no reduction in spam. Listen to what his SPECIFIC circumstances are:
    ...our Institute decided to upgrade the Exchange mail server to the latest version. Hence the mail server was shut down for approximately 2 days/48 hours ... Now I am receiving 'only' (!) 5-6 spam mails everyday!
    Which is more likely: taking the mail server offline caused the spam reduction, or the upgrade involved adding a spam filter?
