I run Gallery 1.x on my site. Since the gallery site is currently slashdotted, does anyone know if its easy to upgrade from 1.x to 2.x or should I just stick with 1.x (which seems to suit my needs just fine as it is)
In case it makes a difference: My gallery is on a hosting providers server, not my own. I have SSH access though.
I have a 20gb ipod, and while i love it, it's kind of heavy.
I use it when I walk and put it in my shirt pocket (i have a long torso so the headphone wire isnt long enough to put it in my pants pocket).. And its constantly pulling my shirt down.
A nano would be perfect for walking cause its so small.

Anyway, whenever theres hurricanes i always hope they come and hit RI. I like worrying about my life/property. Life is boring without the fear of losing it all.

Or they should offer an option in their client to watch ads while downloading. Have the client display a few ads while it dls. Now I'm sure people will figure out how to block it, so maybe have a simple quiz at the end (something obvious though, like not "what was the girl in the second commercial wearing at 0:07.. But rather during the commercial have maybe text display "THE ANSWER IS RED" during the WHOLE commercial, so you cant miss it, and then that's the answer to the quiz") then you can watch your show WITHOUT commercials

Ive seen people complain before about how scifi shows stuff that isn't scifi but it never bothered me too much until last night. Last night I saw a commercial for a movie that was going to air on scifi.. What movie? "Liar Liar".. Yes, the Jim Carrey COMEDY film.. On SCIFI.. W T F ??!??
It should still be possible to read some data though, I mean if an important password is stored in just ~50 bytes of the cd, it may still be accessible if someone really wanted to try
I say microwave the cd first, then shred

I used to have a mailer on my site that I wanted to protect from spammers/bots and I was trying to find a pre-made script on google but I had no clue what they were called so I just ended up writing my own
Oh well its about a year too late now and I don't even have that mailer form on my site anymore.
P.S. I bet my awesome captcha script would have been un-crackable! =P
heh same here, its about 5pm when i finally wake up
i used to work 11:30am-8:00pm and even 11:30 seemed too early.. now i work 9:30am and its hell (it was 8:30 but i was always late so i got my hours changed)
i leave my house 15 minutes before im supposed to be at work.. and it takes 15 minutes to get there so i leave the latest i can without being late and its not because im wasting time.. as soon as i get up i get ready but it takes forever cause i keep passing out (in the shower, eating breakfast, etc)
i finally started eating breakfast when i started exercising back in september (was about 370lbs then, now im 280 yay)
but theres no way i can exercise in the morning.. and the parent poster says if he exercises in the morning hes more energized and the day goes by faster.. that dont work for me, occasionally for whatever reason ill have to be up earlier than usual so when i finally get to work im wide awake.. the day drags forever and i feel sick.. id much rather sleep through work like im doing right now::yawn::

im tired all day, awake at 5, and wide awake at 2am.. i can never fall asleep early and can never wake up.. my internal clock is all fubar
what? xp came with ipv6 support but you have to manually enable it, and it can be easily removed also. ive never heard of a windows update that turns it on, what are you talking about?

Im using Opera 8.5 (on windows) and slashdot loads fine.. actually a lot faster than usual

I'm seeing this also. I was getting about 80 spams a day per account, now im getting 140-160 a day per account
