    but anyway this should not be admissable in court until the source code (with needed toolchain) has been vetted by the Oldest and Crankiest Qualified persons they can find.

    (does this have a bias as to which "race" it comes up with?? will it pop certain trait markers more often??)

  2. best way to do this is get a lawyer with a Daedric Pen to write up a set of contracts to include Service Level Agreements in the various tiers (and this would most likely make more money for the ISPs anyway)

    the way it works now is they advertise Up to 200mbps (but no minimum) even with NN in effect they could setup the SLAs for either percent of uptime ( in say 75% 80% 90% 99.99%) or a minimum percent of your package speed (most likely 50% 70% 80% 90%). So instead of paying for different services and risking them oopsing during random months you would be paying them to ensure your connection works.

  4. would not work since it would be a nightmare to make a mirror that does not reflect RADAR and won't get dusty about 5 seconds after it leaves the hanger.

    plus even if you reflected 95% of the energy that 5% would add up quickly (plus all it would take is to include a MASS DRIVER in with the battery to ruin the mirror)

  9. well he does have to start somewhere so he thought of the children first so next he needs to light up the major adult hospital and then do the rest of the infrastructure and work on homes and such as needed/available (heck they should be rebuilding houses with Solar in mind).

    i remember a while back there was a website that had an ap where you could do a video (and it would live stream a low rez copy if it had a connection) and you could save a report for later.

    So as an example for the game Emperor of The Universe include as part of a Purchased Copy
    1 an upgraded asteroid Base
    2 a couple ships (maybe one fighter and one light cargo/tech ship)
    3 a chest with say 30M "credits"
    4 a JumpGate to a merchant FreeHold

    then if somebody pirates the game then they would have to buy a large numbers of Things to get past the first bit of the game.

    Now placing bets on how long before this deploys that

    1 there will be a MASSIVE hack of the system due to folks being framed for multiple felonies driven by voice commands

    2 Amazon Employees are found to have a stash of "exciting" media grabbed via different devices

    3 somebody gets arrested due to something that was saved by one of these devices

    4 a few people get KILLED using one of these devices (example an Amazon controlled car decides to shut the engine down while the car is cruising down the Highway at 20 above the posted speed limit)
