I actually just started playing last night after an unsucessful attempt to evade my friend's bombardment of WoW propoganda.
I have to agree. The best part of the game for me so far is learning the build-making strat and seeing all the old stuff from the RTS games.
I'm an old school Everquest raid fanatic that couldn't put the mouse down, but this game does little tog et me really excited. And yes, I just got done reasoning (with a sleep-deprived brain, mind you) that the game is reminiscent of single player, offline RPG's in much of it's approach.
And LOL'ing at the progress indicator bar. It's just so lame to me... I'lll pass judgement on the software after the install's through, but I'm not expecting much.
Ah, well that explains that one (I guess I take your word for it). I'm pretty sure that neither my sister or my neice or anyone they know has even seen the icon for Python before.
Of course this stuff is all over. My sister's PC was infested with malware and a member of a botnet. She has a teenage daughter that clcks on everything sent her way. I discovered, before a complete system wipe, two processes that run on start up using telnet, at least three many pop-up services, two browser tool-bars, a page hijack stacked upon another page hijack that got had it's registry keys still intact, but was disabled by the other hijack, and the system had Python installed and was compiling source code! After all that, they better change their browser habits. I only hope my sister dosen't make her daughter stop using the PC or the web altogether. That's the wrong answer, and hopefully I can educate them and give them an alternative.
It's a great card. I own one and it's great if you can manage the wiring. It's all unbalanced RCA and MIDI connections, so it's not that out of thr ordinary. But if you don't have RCA jacks on your speakers you'll need a adapter for them. The card runs about 100 bucks.
You can't blame the technology for your lack of troubleshooting an obviously broken product. What made you think that a BIOS update would correct that problem anyway?
Unfortunatly, I've only recorded in a REAL studio once, and I didn't exactly get the chance to tour the place so I really wouldn't know how it'd work for a pro. For my home studio PC, however, I'd be quite willing to test it out and I'm pretty sure it's quieter than the monstrosity I have right now.
This would be GREAT in a audio production PC. Fans are noisy and so are liquid cooling solutions to a degree. If this could be affordable and effecient, then I could see this becoming the standard for the studio PC.
Don't think like that. Just because a few people have made a joke our of some parts of that scrap of paper, that dosen't mean that it's original scope or intent has changed in the tiniest bit.
Call insensitive if you want. I have every sympathy for rape victims, but without knowing all the facts, how am i supposed to believe she stayed with a bunch of cokeheads unwillingly, just and innocent girl living with a bunch of people who'd rape her? Something just dosen't add up there and I'm sorry if my skepticism sounds cruel.
They were checking for evidence of fraud, not incompentent spending. I've had my credit accessed for a number of jobs that required access to financial data.
look like a giant burrito?

Na na na na... fishing.. I mean Batman!
Chernobyl rocks. My favorite virus by far.
Cheney: (aside) Say... you think I could get Haliburton a contract over there for clean up afterwards.?
It's more like a benchmark of how easy (and inefficient) it is to put a regular PC into a fancy white case.
SHIN...SHOR...RYU0...KEN!!!
Shouldn't the repair shop WANT to see the same customer come in on a weekly basis?

Try 3.5mb/s on T3. It's great.
So... what kind of stats do the short goblin-like humans get? Want to make sure I don't inadvertadly lower any of my prime skills. ;P

Obligatory... especially in Soviet China where Wikipedia unblocks you.

It's kinda ironic that you were able to post all that tripe anonymously.

Umm... I'm pretty sure there are a few min. wage workers out there that might want to better themselves...
