    I really feel sorry for those locked in to that OS, every day it seems there is a new problem with their security, and maybe MS should break backwards compatibility and fix that shit. While they are at it they can scrap the other crap added too, no one in their right mind will willingly use an OS that spies on them regardless if it helps MS see why things break. Anyway, it's not my problem I've been MS free for years

PCLinuxOS version of uninstall, open synaptic, enter root password (we don't use sudo) search for task-pulseaudio-remove and click apply/apply, reboot done :P seriously though this malware is crap, first only a moron installs outside of the repository, then you don't know if the deb/rpm matches the system in any way.. usually mic is muted even on a working system until needed, I could go on :D This is a none issue. Hey Ubuntu users, please get rid of sudo, it's inherently weak in the way *buntu uses it, same password for user as for root? seriously, change that shit. Alie

    and PCLinuxOS :P seriously I'm expecting for the new kernel to be in testing really soon, and I'll test it on my machines (17 of em) and do my remaster if it doesn't throw up any show stoppers, I do expect Nvidia and Ati closed source drivers to bork until patches are available and I am looking forward to the new features such as 3D in VMs. No need to compile if your old kernel is working well, just wait until it hits the repository of your favourite distribution and simply apt -get, whatever package manager it in :) keeping the old one installed until you have tested the new one thoroughly then remove the old.     No Linux or BSD spys on you, at all. I don't know about OSX but I know snow-leopard didn't seem to (only one I used) so spying seems only Google and Microsofts game :)

    I won't touch SystemD either, I'm lucky that the main maintainer for the distro I use has no interest in using it at all. If he is forced he may well just close the distro down, then I go to bsd :D

    We did complain, but the minority in charge deleted threads and banned anyone that said a word against it, that happened at both Debian and Arch. It was a total fsck up and I'll happily go to bsd before having anything to do with that shit that is systemd and any users that use it deserve it, reboots and all.
