i think that unless either voyager finds intelligent life or a comet/astroid heading for earth, they should cut funding for them. either that or minimize the program to very bare operations. there's a fine line between eeking out info from old programs and irresponsibility. nasa needs to get a better perspective on its goals and focus more resources on fewer projects.
its just another rich guy with nothing better to do than waste time and money to do something noone cares about. hey, here's something he can do with all that time and money: donate to charities. i'd be more impressed by that than some stupid record.
its just really pathetic how they just copied mac's design, only changing the color and adding some lame ass stripe on it. apple should make their next computer a piece of shit and see if intel tries to follow suit.
once someone figures out how to bypass the code, all they need to do is walk by you to steal your card. and besides, how lazy do you have to be not to take out your card and swipe it? seriously: 1) take card out 2) swipe. wow, that was so hard, i need to create an elaborate method so that i dont even need to move my fat ass anymore.

the way the us has handled domestic security, i wouldnt be surprised if one were to be made and brought here. there is surprisingly little security in protecting the sale/distribution of bomb material out there, its just a matter of time before you see a mushroom cloud or dirty bomb go off.
i know the power requirements might be much higher, but still, cant they try to make cooler, low power processors for the desktop? well, at least they're not burning up like the pentiums....

actually, competition should be great for the end user, no matter who wins, we all win. but for now, 25 million intelligent people agree, firefox rox.
