i didnt think the grammy's were about commercial exposure or success, but rather about the quality of music...(checks online) wait, maroon 5 won a grammy? well, fuck that, i was wrong.
this has been floating around philly for at least a year now. the last thing we need is for some crap isp to run things. i'd rather pay a tax and have the government run it than be ripped off by some crappy isp (ahem comcast cough cough).
A lot of the posts ive been reading have been flaming (ding dong the witch is dead is one in particular). i didnt realize you guys had such raging hardons for hp. if i remember correctly, with the exception of some of their printers, everything about them pretty much sucked donkey dick for the past decade or so. i dont see anything new or positive coming out of hp because of this. or maybe its because you guys have a problem with your masculinity. there's a fucking flame for you/.
It doesnt seem like a bad idea, considering china has the worlds largest population, and is 2nd in pollution emissions, for china to go with an alternative fuel source. as for the dangers, every fuel source has its dangers, its a matter of minimizing them. with the exception of chernobyl, there hasnt been a full FUBAR power plant meltdown.
if its for family or friends you could do it for free, or for a favor. if its for business, then i'd charge depending on what it is. and if its a hot girl, i'd do it for a little something something...
Whatever microsoft comes up with in longhorn, it will more than likely be superficial, ie (pun) interface changes, probably tabbed browsing, and some cute animated graphics (like a 3d home button that turns into a puppy or something). any security implemented will more than likely be broken and we'll face the same critical update crap as before.
with more people getting on broadband (not just in college anymore) and the spread of wireless spots in public places (starbucks, cities, airports) its not that surprising that internet broadcasts are getting more popular (again). casts can be sent in better quality to more people now.
whether or not a painting made by a baby is art, or whether a painting by one of those elephants who can paint is art. it all depends on the point of view. im sure to the parent/trainer it is but to the rest of us, it just looks like crap.
i pretty much figured hubble outlived its usefulness already. it seems like a waste to just junk it though. maybe we can turn it around and use it to finally find those wmd's.
it seems like every week there's a new search engine out with super happy fun additions. do we even use any of them? i know i only use google to find por...i mean educational material. my fear is these search engines will become so bloated with crap it will become useless. the great thing about google was that it was just a search engine, very simple and easy to use.
like the ipod, mac mini's will probably be plagued by issues, probably realted with heat. the only good thing i can say about it is the design, and i dont buy computers on just how it looks. really, if people want more power and afforability in a small form factor pc, they should just get a shuttle xpc. its cheaper, far faster, and better for upgrading. or even go a cheaper route and get one of those itx boards.
I think thats a dangerous idea. giving them that much....gaaa!... the-nsa-is-a-great-organization-lets-give-them-all -the-
power-they-want.
blah blah blah moderators wont read this blah blah blah.

Too bad.
the antivirus program has become the very thing that it has been programmed to stop.

i just stick mine in a tub of cold water. but for some reason it stops running after that. still trying to figure out why.
i was getting tired of not having my computer taken over by spyware. man i hate stable pc's...
wasnt this already reported last week? anyway, i wouldnt mind a sub 100$ laptop here. heck, schools should offer their students these laptops.
The title made it sound like they were implanting some sort of solar powered device. darn, now i cant make a solar powered joke.
with the dual cores, you'll have a roaring bonfire in only a few seconds after turning it on. heehee. cause pentiums run hot.
the best bet would be to just send a bunch of our factories over to mars and in a few decades mars will be as hot as hell.

not that i've done anything wrong (gotta get rid of the evidence) but i think its about time i er .... look over there! (yoink)
Answer: because you still buy it, so they have no real incentive to fix it.
way to go riaa. get that ..old, dead lady...
im sure microsoft will try to peck away at google in the search engine market, then just end up trying to buy them.
