I hope whoever is teaching them to read has a better understanding of the english language, unlike most posters (not on this site of course...), who can't tell the difference between YOU ARE and YOUR or THEY ARE and THEIR.
Will this suck more than phantom menace or attack of the clones? I'm going to say its going to be better than menace but crappier than clones. kind of like how jedi was for the first trilogy, but in reverse.
the mac mini does look nice, but i can make the same thing using a cookie tin. xpc's designs are diverse and very functional as well as aesthetically pleasing (not to mention upgrade friendly). apple's designs are all the same: plastic and minimal. all their products are going to look like a giant ipod eventually.
Both MS and PS want to have an "entertainment center", basically a machine that plays games, movies, music. pc's already do this, but they are much more upgrade friendly.

His business practices (and 'vulnerable' software) aside, gates has contributed more to charitable causes than most of the worlds richest people (probably combined). and i've heard that he wants to donate all his money when he dies, instead of giving it to his family. as a philanthropist, he deserves some kudos.
LOL. its annoying to see people (presumably well educated) cant tell the difference between "than" and "then"; the former implies some sort of comparison, the latter is used to denote some sort of consequence or a temporal change ("he is dumber 'than' her"; "if i do this, 'then' i am dumb"; "i will do one thing, 'then' i will do something else")
