You would think they would make her hold that board with some gloves on or something. She might get some fuzzy blue sweater mass (FBSM) stuck in the Pertinax.
That's nice. I don't think the article mentions the fact that the shuffle becomes a personal floatation device in the event of a water related disaster.
Agreed. In the electrical construction market, we have seen very minor price fluctuations since 2002 (less that 5% per year on average - also on par with inflation). The US government has re-opened copper mining facilities in the american west to boost supply. I am not convinced there is a scarcity at all. Scarcity would surely trigger major price fluctuations.
actually the text read: and will travel 300 984 feet per second -- not as fast as the company's conventional lifts that move 3,314 feet a second, Toshiba said....
Earlier today, the words "per minute" read "per second." I wonder how long it took to correct? 3,314 fps would be INSANE. They could save that kind of juice for the space elevator.
It's almost guaranteed to be a flop. I've seen mega-bucks poured into BD infrastructure at the top DVD manufacturing facilities and almost none into HD-DVD production. We are going to see extremely few HD-DVD titles released. Oh, and the BD titles and players are coming to consumer markets by late spring.
Speaking of ebay: What's wrong with using ebay for these games? Seems to me that unless you **have** to have (what may or may not be) a factory sealed original then ebay is the place...
Speaking of this...i was playing Madden '06 on the PS2 last night with my son. Steelers vs. Colts. About 2 minutes into the 3rd quarter he hits "start" to challenge a play and the whole game glitched out. Repeating 1 second sound effect and frozen console. He said he wins. This is about the 4th time Madden '06 has frozen on me (a couple times on the PSP and a couple times on the PS2). What's up with that??
for the 360 if it is not to be relegated to the junk pile within 18 mos. I spoke with 2 major US dvd manufacturers in southern california yesterday who have both phased out the pre-press operations for the hd-dvd format and are concentrating almost solely on Blu-ray.
However MS wants to support Blu-ray - they need to do it...soon, too.
Remember, increased disc capacity can translate into more than just increased resolution...The goal of HD OR BR is to increase the amount of data on the disc itself. This will likely prove useful for games, with the resolution increase an added bonus when watching DVDs.
This is wayyy typical of the Glendale CA police in general. They're also hot on jaywalkers on Brand during "happy hour".

Holy cow, you are right. What's with the CNN sensationalism?
Do you think the biologist who discovered the "second smallest" fish is pissed now?
NSA (not a joke). Here is an article from ZDnet about it. AND this is PRE-9/11. What do you think has happened since? http://news.zdnet.com/2100-9595_22-529826.html

when those 4,000 devkits shipped out? If it was recently, we're obviously not going to see a springtime release.

speculative. Who are the sources for these analysts? I'll wait to hear from Sony, thanks.
I think the audience yells out "hotter" and "colder."
100% correct. There are several competition categories, blindfolded is one of them.

dont think so...lacks the RF "shielding" of the metal.
Looks like the "sinister" phase 2 restructuring is about to begin...
