    It happens pretty frequently with Paypal: Paypal in fact states that you will *not* dispute charges on your credit card wtihout calling Paypal (who is the credit card processor here) first. Google's terms releases sellers from the risk of facing chargebacks.

    If you want to sync bookmarks across all the machines you use, there's an *excellent* up and coming bookmark syncrhonizer, which is better (fewer bugs) than other sync extensions: Foxmarks.

    Just because every society *until now* has had an end, that doesn't mean that every society from this point on will have an end. A culture of of greed, capitalism and consolidation may not be what is traditionally thought of as "good", but that doesn't mean that such a culture may not be the most successful one yet. "Good" and "successful" don't necessarily have to occur together.
