    I REALLY don't believe it's a matter of age. It's a matter of experience. You don't allow kids to have a drivers license until they turn 21 and you get a drastic increase in the number of people in their 20's getting into accidents.

    Fixing it isn't done by changing the captain of the Titanic, its done by clearing out all the existing processes, all the paperwork, most of the arts graduates claiming to be managers

    Yeah, but who was in charge of setting up these processes, paperwork, and managers. And do you really think the same people will clear them out and start over?

    Had a friend that worked at Walmart. Sadly, Hacked Santa would probably just get tossed into a trash compactor. That's where my friend said most of the perfectly-fine-but-returned TVs, DVD players, PS2s, etc. got sent. And you got fired if you tried to take one before it got tossed in.

    And for those who want to use these IM clients but can't from work, there's always Meebo. Pick on AJAX all you want, but I can IM on MSN, Yahoo, Google, and AIM through port 80.

    Holy crap! It's amazing how people confuse a government with it's people.
    "The Americans are our enemies"? Wow...

    Most Americans have the same opinion of their government right now as the rest of the world. And the fact that you can say what you said on a US based site (especially given the topic) and be marked as insightful should at least give a little proof of that.

    I mean really. That was just unnecessarily hateful.

    Rarely do they use sex and gore in movies over the last few years. That would give the movie an R-rating, thus making it less marketable.

    However, look at the biggest hits critically and financially this summer: R-rated movies based around sex.

    And, actually, this is great. Studios won't put out a "less marketable" R-rated movies about those dirty, nasty subjects unless *gasp*, it's worth putting out!

    Leading us to the eventual, "When the only R-rated movies are quality, then only quality movies will be R-rated".

    The problem is that most people don't patch their systems.

    Seems to me Microsoft almost always has a patch before the exploits go around.

    I keep my system updated and turn on the firewall in XP, and I've never had a security issue with my machine.

    Seems unnesessary, but I suppose a yardstck can measure 1/4 inch, too.

    Just kidding, man. You made a good point earlier, I can't imagine in most cases that a designer's job is much different than a programmers. Not only do they have to knock out game ideas as fast as possible, they have to be GOOD ideas, or they get fired.
