And the version included in new PCs is a 30 demo,
Not in any PC I've ever purchased. Word is there and stays there. Ever heard of the Works Suite that comes with virtually every Dell or Gateway PC? It also includes Greetings, Streets, and some form of Encarta.

You've gotten Microsoft confused with McAffee, Anonymous zealot Coward.

Where? Even if that's too much for you, it comes with just about every new PC.

Accessibility. Because of my visual disability, I have to have light text on a dark background, meaning I need to override the specified colors on many web pages, which Konqueror doesn't let you do. Firefox does. Even IE does.

But, hey, I could be missing something. Where in Konqueror can I do this?

While you can use POP3 to retrieve mail from inboxes on other servers, I meant accessing a Yahoo account from an email client via POP3/SMTP. From the Yahoo Mail FAQ:

Mail users can read their Yahoo! Mail messages in Netscape, Eudora, or Outlook by subscribing to the Yahoo! Mail Plus service.

And from the Yahoo Mail Plus page:

    only $19.99/year

That means you have to pay. :(

There IS hard evidence supporting the theory of evolution. We have the fossil record, microevolution, population genetics, plate tectonics, climatogeology, and, of course, general biology to pull it all together.

The only evidence we have that suggests the Adam and Eve story is literal is that it is written in a very old book.

Next up, Anonymous troglodyte Coward tells us that a summer full of heat waves is just random occurance and that there is no solid evidence that global warming exists.

In the post's context, a Zonkism was any editorial mistake made by Zonk, such as the broken link on this story.

    1. You're NYC personality puts people off. One common mistake that I've found among moderators is that they take flamebait to mean abrasive, while it is supposed to mean "trying to start a flamewar".
    2. You have a community of stalkers. I wouldn't consider this option normally, but because of your journal, the top of your Fans list, that unexplained modbomb in November, and the fact that you're somewhat of a celebrity here, it is quite possible.

Actually, the root cause is human nature. No matter what protocol/OS/browser becomes popular or available, someone will try to break it. Windows is popular now, so it would be the logical choice for which to develop an attack. If Windows falls out of favor when Vista is released as you have many times predicted here, and Linux becomes more mainstream, you can be assured that our less civilized members of society will be looking for a way to crack it. The wise old verse still holds true: "Seek, and ye shall find."
