What it doesnt describe is the Kickbacks the Richest man gets for taking his 9 poorer friends to this bar. Or his plan to get them drunk and rob them on the way home. Or The rent of the bar stool, pretzels and coin operated toliets in the bar.
All these Bluetooth wearing peoples existence becomes clear...they were the prototype for Cattle management.
Truly the work has flipped upside down.

If there was a horrible accident at LHC if they called anyone their voices would be too high pitched to take seriously.
I have long had some questions about slashdot.
What is the percentage of people who post anon replies to their own posts?
How many times does "I for one...Overlord" show up total and per article?
Number of Apple ref on a MS thread vs Linux refs?
and lasty...
How many people request that Disagree emails should be ended? Has the number increased or decreased per week?
I would prefer this in a chart form...maybe pie(yummm pie)
1. Lives of leisure are certainly NOT more unacceptable today. See: Hollywood, Children of the VERY wealthy, Politicians(remember the President is over 500 DAYS of vacation in 7 years). If we valued hard work or lives of deeper meaning and value I am sure I wouldnt have too see all that garbage in the news.
2. More personal fortunes then? Not hardly. We have more Billionaires today then they had Millionaires. Even accounting for inflation and cost of living we have FAR more wealth today.
3. Lastly the point of the article above is we have hobbists working on Fusion. That said the last part of your post is wholely inaccurate. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Citizen_science and thats not counting the billions donated by the wealthy to support research in a HOST of fields.
Maybe they will start getting it right from now on. Iron Man- Excellent Hulk- Better then Ang Lees version, a good flick Hancock- A great film Hellboy- a beautiful film lots of Eye candy, I do agree too much Love story and this weekend we get Batman the Dark Knight- which I hope knocks them out of the park.
Personally that scene is why i HATE the character Thomas Covenant, but I understand why it was necessary to the character. Still I wouldnt avoid it because of that scene it made me cringe and I feel that teh world might be a better place if peple cringe sometimes and face darkness as opposed to skipping it because its uncomfortable.

THe newer BSG is better by far then the original series. Go back and watch the old show and I assure you the nostalgia wipes off real quick.
As to Speed Racer and Star Trek, no comment.
I think a remake of Buck Rogers would rock, as long as they keep the Hotpants from the orginal.

You were also likely to breed with family members which might make such genetic trends stronger.
Or perhaps the guy is a moron and evolution is completely unstoppable.
NASA has hundreds of PhDs and they did a bang up job on Skylab and Mars probe.
