glass is a very worrying invention. no expectation of privacy in public is very different then lots of people being able to record everything they see. wait 'til a bunch of peeping tom videos start appearing, or people taking videos of kids on the beach, or until someone with glass gets shot because a dealer thinks they might have recorded that drug deal. the surveillance we have now, we can at least vaguely hope no one is using it for fap material, or won't put it out to embarrass us. does your nose itch? better not scratch it, there's three people with google glass over there and you'd hate for them to record it and put it up on youtube looking like you're picking your nose. is there even a light showing people that its recording? laptops sometimes have those, that'd be something at least

Go ahead and keep attacking others if thats what it takes for you to feel ok. Hope everything works out for the best and you're not too disappointed when you die and America is still using both the Imperial and Metric systems, dollar bills, oh and the middle endian dating system to boot. Systems preference is exactly that, a preference, and to get all bent out of shape and attack people over it is a sad thing.

Wow, personal attack in the first sentence, classy there. Sure metric is used in a lot of places, and thats fine, we even signed the Treaty of the Metre. Doesn't matter, and your whining, bullying, and attacking of people won't change anything. You can call people names and be condescending as much as you want, the street signs won't change, the gas pumps won't change, people will keep measuring their weight in pounds, etc. I do have some good news though, you can walk your offensive, snooty ass down to the liquor store and buy a 750ml bottle of booze to help you cope with what must be the horrible pain of living among such inferior people.

Yes, the people signing the petition are US citizens, but they're a minority. Argue 'till you're blue in the face, we won't switch, for the same reason we keep using dollar bills when dollar coins would be "better". Thats the way we like it. I realize the reason isn't good enough for people who want to impose their will on us. Tough.
