'ha! our completed OS OWNS your beta OS. unf unf in your face'
when companies actually recieve patents for such broad things like the sound of wind, will they revoke it or not enforce that patent?

earlier you mark someone who posted nothing but wrong info and he got +5, insightful. and now this guy is obviously opposed to a guy saying he hopes one of the PA guys chokes to death, and he is a troll???
I wrote for an online comic about 2 years ago (im not going to shamelessly plug it either), but we were good enough to get invited out to E3 and hang out with the Blizzard guys, but we really didnt get that much attention otherwise. We had about 8000 readers a day, but still. The PA guys are a great team, but they were also one of the first guys to have a video game based comic.
why is this insightful?? obviously there are like 5+ responses pointing out he is wrong. i can point out wrong info all day if its going to get me +5, insightful.
hey! im the lord jesus christ! gimme your money if you want to go to heaven now.
seriously? what is the point? its a cute idea because 'HEY! LOOK! ITS THIS 50,000 YEAR OLD SATELLITE!!' but thats a long ass time for lots of things to go wrong. also a long ass time for people to forget 'hmm... NASA. what the hell is that??' sorry to sound trollish, but i would like to think that in 50,000 years, we could travel to pluto just fine. either that, or we will just be dead.
i do know that UPS had a shit time working things with their airline transports. it boiled down to manually checking the packages. a friend of mine was lucky enough to get picked for that job. so its not all propaganda.
CROWD:A witch! A witch! Burn her! Burn her! Burn her! We've found a witch!
VILLAGER: We have found a witch. May we burn her?
CROWD: Burn her! Burn! Burn her! Burn her!
BEDEVERE: How do you know she is a witch?
VILLAGER: She looks like one.
CROWD: Right! Yeah! Yeah!
what would someone that age get out of releasing something that would cost so much damage?? i realize you get the whole '3Y3 PWN3D J00R 4SS' effect, but still.
and also, i guess this shows more than russia has some awesome programmers:)
last tid bit:
Moroccan authorities, working with the FBI, arrested Farid Essebar, 18, a Moroccan national born in Russia who went by the screen moniker "Diabl0."
who the hell uses the term 'screen moniker'??
what kind of price changes would we expect to see, if any? right now id love to get an iPod, but they are a take on the expensive side. Would be nice if it dropped just a little for the cheapo people like myself:)
AMC theaters now make it like they are doing you a favor by giving you commercials to watch before the movie. 'HEY! IF YOU MISSED THE 20, MAKE SURE YOU GET HERE 20 MINUTES EARLIER TO CATCH IT NEXT TIME!'
translated to nonmarketing-ploy speak...
'hey! get here earlier so we can get some more money by shoving commercials in your face despite the fact that we just raised the prices of tickets another dollar. '
i went from watching atleast a movie a week to about 1 every month or so. its just that movies suck. i got tired of wasting my money on something that they just dumped all their money into special effects and forgot about scripts. im hoping that soon the 'eye candy' era will fade out and will go back to just writing good movies instead of relying on good effects. movies like Stealth and what not are definitely not relying on a good script. its scary because at some point, someone said 'HOLY SHIT! I GOT A GREAT IDEA! A PLANE... THAT THINKS ON ITS OWN AND BLOWS THINGS UP! and its fighting only a funny/witty black man, some duffus white guy and a hot chick'
its not uncommon for microsoft to do that. i know atleast if something needs to be certified to use by the russian government, MS has to release their source to them for extremely careful review.
my dad owned his own atari retail store, so even before nintendo came out, i had all the atari crap i could ever want:). king of the mountain was an amazing game. i tried playing zork 1, but i was alittle too young to actually do well in the game. hehe
nintendo came out long before the current generation of teenagers were infact teenagers. shit, the original came out when i was roughly 6-7. maybe 8. im 24 now so that was a long ass time ago. there is a mighty good chance that teenagers today didnt not play too many nintendo games on the original nintendo.
maybe you arent aware that a "teenager" now a days started with propbably ps2. if they had started before the teen days, they might have had a psx. and if they had a psx, they would have the latest version (psx came out 9-10 years ago. i got one the day it came out as a freshman in highschool:( ).and id be impressed if he ever played an original nintendo.
While I'll agree, they should care more if they have food/shelter/clothing, but there is still a boundry between not being able to afford luxuries and damn near close to being on the streets. I think its nice that people who might be able to spring for a cheap computer can now afford internet. Especially now that you can get one for around $200-$400. In fact, there are some places where you can get a internet capable computer for damn near close to free from charities. So its sorta nice that families with kids can now get a computer with an internet connection.
Too bad this didnt work here. And mostly because no one knew about the free service. As a resident of Orlando, I definitely didnt have a clue. I hope that in time it will be reconsidered. Too bad we canned this before it started catching on.

actualy nothing. 50,000 years, more than likely you wont have anyone around that knows you. might as well jump off a building now.
