Also i think its odd that they put on single nvidia cards, but not the single ATI cards...

idk the way they organize the info is more or less confusing and seems uncomplete or uneven, maybe its just me...

for items they dont have or when im not buying in bulk where i save with them on shipping, ill do a search on bizrate.com, which compares many websites prices (including neweggs) and has a nice shiny site interface with the ability to search by pricing/size/interface/brand etc...

i sometimes use pricewatch.com for quick pricing, (like if i want to know rough market values) but tend not to really use it because a lot of times accessories get lumped with stuff (like ill want a 40GB hard drive and it will lump hard drive accessories in) and because they sometimes have less than reputatble sites on there and no real ratings (causing me to have to research a site -- and i tend to prefer not to have to).

also ill throw in a quick plug for xoxide.com who has stuff more for the comp modder. They have some nifty prices, and are *usually* fairly priced. They also run a rewards program and sunday night 1-item special which is cool (called X-hour -- the rewards thing is Xoxide rewards by the way).

If you ask if he has spyware protection he says "i have a firewall (or worse firewhale)." The average user is incapable of running under secure conditions nowadays, hence why there are so many viruses (malicious coders smell the blood in the water). Windows is a disaster for the average user -- To say that you *can* operate a secure windows computer ignores the more obvious fact that if you arnt computer literate you *wont* have one, between upgrades, programs and common sense requirements there is too much pressure on average users. Id go further and even say computer users feel like they no longer have the ability to control their security destiny -- they are just giving up, figuring its going to happen, and assuming it wont destory there data and will just be an annoyance they can live with. Either that or go to teches every 3 weeks for a cleaning, or buy another dell.

I feel that with all these dam restrictions they are encouraging people to steal music -- with music you steal you not only have unlimited selection, you can get any bitrate, and the song is yours forever in any format you want... for FREE. $1/song = a lot of money when you download a lot of songs. Oh and they are planning on sueing microsoft too (specifically Media player which has been copying itunes lately) oh and what about OS X and Windows too, it uses the same nested directories and genre/artist organization techniques.

These open and ambiquious patents are really getting annoying... i mean maybe back in 2001 their app was unique and ahead of its time, but how is nested folders and type/group organizing patentable -- EVERYTHING PROGRAM USES THESE THINGS... why wait till apple comes along to sue? Btw why also wait until Itunes is so popular to sue, they could have done it 2 years ago -- this is clearly a grab for media attention and a possible pay off, and we fell for it.
