    You can deploy it to a certain number of iPhones, including your own, for free, but for public distribution on the app store, that' s what costs $100.

    When's the last time you opened a gaming magazine and actually saw a STORY about UI developments, the moral stance in violent videogames, or something that wasn't a poorly-camouflaged (if they bother) extended preview of something in development?

    Last week. Because I buy EDGE magazine. The American games journalists should import it so they can see how to do their jobs properly.

    Well there's no reason you can't just play an hour of civ 4 at a time, just hit save and come back to it. In fact playing like that is probably better because you'll think more carefully for your hour, I always make rash decisions if I try and marathon play it.

    My case has a similar system where you screw a tray onto a hard drive which you can then slide into it. It's very convenient. But I also paid a premium for my case. Most people would rather do anything than pay a premium. Just ask Michael Dell.

    TomToms will display local amenities as you drive towards them so if you see a petrol station or somewhere to eat you can plan ahead to stop at the next junction.

    It doesn't really though, you have to email the PDF to them, they convert it into their format and send you it back.

    Yeah, but Apple made the device support plain mp3s and such and then made a store to go with it. Who would have bought an iPod if it couldn't play your mp3s?
