I agree, infact I have found SONY's "magic" formula and this is it.
1. Hype like there is no tommorrow
2. When hype != reality, change documents and lie.
"Mom, I want an i-Pod"
"WHAT?!"
"Come on mom...all the world leaders got one!"
"Oh really now...*scornful*"
"G.W and the Queen got one!"
"I suppose if the USA and England went to war you would follow?"
"Well o'course, if all the cool countries were doing it."
1) its an extra cost, and 2) their "research" reports that there aren't enough people with HD currently (or used the GCN HD ability when it was offered) to merit continueing to offter HD output. Nintendo offered online play for nearly two decades in Japan and the US, it just never really caught on. Then people harp on them for making a "bad decision." They jump on a new idea a generation too early at times and when they get burned by it they stay away from it till its too late.
Their final verdict was that the "mini-game" was, of course, Bogus. Funny, though. They also discuss LucasArts' support for the Revolution, the Sonic MMOG, and Nvidia PS3 real-time demo
It wasn't until I saw the PS3 real-time video claim as true did I know this was completely bogus.
Who needs a large marketshare when you are making more profit each quarter than the company with the largest marketshare? Profit is all that matters, not "how big your wallet is."
Yes, with the addition of voice talent in video games + next gen games projected to cost $60 + $5 for random celeb to lend voice talent I'm sure pumped for next gen systems!
I'm so sure they need MORE money. I mean if they lend their voice to a game I see it as free advertising, people will hear your voice and make an association between the character and the actor. If they want more money it make pull funds from other aspects of game creation, and who wants to be associated with a shitty game?
Actually it hasn't...and I would mod you up a fair deal for it as well. That puts things in a VERY interesting perspective actually, although Nintendo says this console WILL Revolutionize the way we play games...so, wait and see.
Props on the idea.
Lets get the facts straight, Nintendo is #2 OVERALL. Microsoft is #2 in console sales INSIDE the US. In Japan...they are #3. The US sales aren't final say on anything, its a very LARGE world and the sales show that Nintendo is still favored (not the best word but works) over the big black box.
Oh yes, SONY is #1 in almost ALL regards.
GBA -> GBA SP was actually a GOOD purchase for me. The system is much easier to tote in a pocket and the screen doesn't scratch, and let us not forget the fact that the screen is front lit (lame but it does the job).
Ah, and no more batteries to mess with.
Yes but the 360 is being released in the US where there are more foolish consumers, or at least I thats what I think. The PSX was basically too much too soon...and not really needed. Until it is actually cost effective for a gamer to get an 360 over a computer or what not it won't really "sell like hotcakes". All-in-one media centers are really only good if it is cost effective or very convienent.
what exactly?

No longer do we have to worry about ZOMBIE computers but now we have to worry about our console going ZOMBIE
A good one.
Yeah, just to let you know you are going to Stonehenge.

is she taking advice from G.W?
...the Bill and Ted time theory.
...my colon still cries itself to sleep.
...does that mean the DVD is blank?

Zelda II: The Adventures of Link is where I saw it was taken from.

The odd thing is I could call his line a reference to the PSP...

Question though...are games that old and over played REALLY worth $5?
Yeah, its hard to compete for decent coverage by the "hype loving" US gaming market. I've grown weary of gaming commercial from ALL companies...gaaah.
If it has an outlet for a moniter...then it can be easily hooked up to a projector.
I am just waiting for what Nintendo is developing for their true next portable...whatever it is...they won't disappoint I'm sure.

I own both and I have to say...ED was a hell of a lot scarier...take ED as what you will. ED was hard on content but soft on the graphics.
