Quake had true 3D levels that can pass over one another. Quake had 3D adversaries. Quake had network gameplay with Quakeworld. Quake had OpenGL support with GLQuake that launched the GPU world, really starting with the Voodoo 1. Quake had translucent water, which was amazing the first time I ever saw it. And lastly, Quake is still the bar that any small platform must aspire to by answering the question, "Does it run Quake."
With chip makers struggling to make faster chips, this is a good time to make a stand to stop companies from making comparable hardware obsolete--just because they want to sell chips. If they can make faster chips then buy them, but please do not buy side-graded hardware, that's no better than what you have--because it fills up the landfills.
My 7-year-old intel 2600k is only 30% slower than current quad-core offerings. I need more cores, but I am not throwing this motherboard, chip, and memory out, any time soon.
I have been using Libreoffice and formally OpenOffice for decades.
It's great software, and the file saves are compressed so they don't take up as much space as.doc and.xls.
If successful it would do little more rob people of a creative outlet and a living, for a lot of that stuff you saw in computer games was art, as well as bread-and-butter.
What problem does it solve?
Currently, there are no Steam forum rules specifically protecting females/women/girls from attacks, degrading posts, and misogyny. I posted a request for a rule addition and it was locked the first day.
I posted an article here on Slashdot, but sadly it and dozens of others never made it to the front page. I have excellent Karma, and help out with the moderating here.
Marketing people need folding screens to sell cellphones, apparently.
I am a "power user" who just want's a good flat screen--without rounding corners that have a blue line, and that sticks up, so we cannot put a proper screen protector on them.
Perhaps they will fix the Wifi that keeps disconnecting.
Perhaps they will finish the user settings.
Perhaps they will fix the bugs that let the users set default programs.
Perhaps they will fix the Bluetooth file transfer, that thinks you want to okay every single transfer.
Perhaps not, because Microsoft is an old top-heavy company filled with dead wood.
Curved screens don't make sense in the real world. There's a blue line on each edge of the screen. I've already broken 2 screen protectors. I can't even find cases that protect the edge of the screen from drops.
And we don't need a whole bunch of crappy cameras, just one good one.
Did you count the scooters and skateboards?

The pot cannot regulate the kettle.

Bear spray is usually pepper or CS tear gas in a large can.
Facial recognition tech can't identify genitalia? LOL
They won't be the first company to shed their skin and walk away from what made them.
The United States of America must not be governed by company installed sycophants.
Of course, I've owned both. The curved screens make no sense in the real world.

I can't type as fast as I could on my old LG Lotus--especially while walking. 4G is fast enough as long as I haven't gone over my limit.
There are a lot of other vegetarian meats available, many more convincing than the meat in the article.

Why not the synthetic "frack," " fracking," from Battlestar Galactica, or "taffing," "taffers," from the Thief series of video games.

Dollar: it's the law.
Meant as a joke, actually there are consequences. Starbucks cannot block porn without spying on people.

Historically, they've treated your computer as theirs.
I have created plenty of content...for a demonized youtube channel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?... If I only had 200 more subscribers. Sigh.
You recommending fiction as your argument.

No non-living thing should be programed to use the word "I."
Microsoft was using a product they bought. Award given?
