While we're on the subject of keyboards, does anyone know where I could find a keyboard that either doesn't have the windows keys or they can be disabled or made to do something else?
I can agree with that. There needs to be an updated fair use clause added to DMCA. I think there was an article recently about Great Britain making a law along these lines, maybe it will give out lawmakers an idea in the U.S..
Even if you do need the internet for this, which some other posters have pointed out that you might not, you have to consider that starting a project at this point it may only be ready in a couple of years from now. At that point internet access on a phone could be common/fast/cheap.
I can agree with that. I've been using Yahoo mail beta for a fairly long time now. Overall, I like it, once it has finished loading. They need a light version that gets you in faster. AJAX is supposed to improve performance. Their use of AJAX is just reducing performance in hope of simulating Outlook. Yahoo needs to take a step back and rethink their design, or offer a lighter weight faster loading version for the people who want that instead of an Outlook simulation.
It seems odd that you would use chemotherapy described in the article as being something that wipes out your immune system, and then try to use a treatment that relies entirely on your immune system being effective. Maybe thats part of the treatment, but it seems like you would want your immune system at 100% for this process to work.
This RTFA crap is thrown around WAY too much.
I never denied that the article said that, or that it was not correct to do it this way, I just said it seems counterintuitive.
That is promising research. It seems to be the most promising other than future use of nano technology to deliver drugs directly.

These articles always make me wonder if the researchers had access to data processed by folding projects.
Hehe, funny. But you know what I mean. Out of the people who read Slashdot and will actually buy it, one way or the other they're not paying retail price.
I'm sure they will completely dominate if they just focus on that less than 2% of the market that runs Linux. And out of that 2%, how many need a top of the line 3d card?

He'd better help if we're talking about the antichrist for president.
That is true, but there is an easy workaround to get the exact same functionality from IE.
new ActiveXObject("Microsoft.XMLHTTP");

Exactly what I was thinking. I wish I had mod points right now.
No, it's more like the bugs in Starship Troopers. The small extremophiles get launched out of the butts of the large extremophiles.
Maybe it's possible, but is it really better in some way? How is navigating an avatar through a hallway of doors better than clicking a link?
There are some potential social possibilities in a 3d web site, but does it really help you get to the information any better?
But I had a shower this morning... OH... "SP"... nevermind.
It could have been about eating a bowl of copper wires over milk instead of bran flakes.

If communist propaganda is lying, then yes, they're huge liars.
Don't waste your time dating primatives. Full fledged objects make much better dates.
The world's supply of blue lasers are all going into the PS3.
but... but... Segway is going to change the world. Were going to build entire cities around this device!
The great thing about Deus Ex... you can't pronounce it without it sounding like "day of sex".
That would be Weird Al. He'll cut you up like a surgeon and make you eat it.

New acronym: RMFP.
Undeserved overrating of parent for a smartass comment.
Read My Fucking Post. I said that from what the article was saying it seems strange. I didnt say they were wrong.

I want to see the OEM version prices. Nobody here normally pays full retail price for Windows.
I like inorganic meat much better.

I'm sorry, but it's a waste of time for them.
