    dude what? are you taking GMAT or something? this essay sounds like a GRE/GMAT AWA essay ;) on the topic you wrote ... they can't be that effective to begin with.
    May be they aren't intended for what they seem for. May be these laws are not to combat terrorism but to help businesses enforce DRM etc...

    not that this particular action is abuse. unfortunately abuse has worse outcomes when used over "non-major" sites/competitors. that actually is worst form of abuse. it's not easy to hurt major sites, since they are already major, but such abuse could potentially hurt non major sites bigtime, it WILL be too long before anyone notices.

    FTA Forest growth in equatorial areas, on the other hand, reduced global temperatures in the simulation because the warmer air in these regions allows more moisture to evaporate from the leaves of trees.

    I'm pretty sure it has similar effects in the UAE region also.

    It's funny when slashdotters make comments like this. I mean a lot of researchers do these studies for "living". Do you really think they don't think of such factors. Have some faith in science and scientists okay? Infact to quote the researcher in question

    clearly indicates he needs further evidence.

    I might be trying to prove a point by being so upfront about it. BTW they have a link on their website which says computer hack or something. don't click that, it messes up some streaming plugins in firefox.
