    Distributed authentication system (nis, kerberos, ldap, mysql, whatever), and storage (netapp. don't even think about using anything else, just get a damn netapp). have multiple everything and redundancy redundancy redundancy.

    don't forget testing it. get a system up and running, then see what happens if you power off the master. Hint: it shouldn't change anything.

    TPM only works IF IT IS ENABLED BY THE OS. It requires a driver. On Purpose.

    Requiring an ID is considered to be a form of a poll-tax (since you have to pay for the ID), which is illegal.

    I've heard of some countries sending you a card with your voter information kit and you need to give it to them to vote. One card per voter, per visit.

    I move servers around, and get dirty regularlly. If I rip a teeshirt, I'm not too upset about it, but if I rip a dress shirt, then its gone. Same thing with pants.

    Thats not to say I go to work in ripped clothes. I get clean and decent looking stuff, which is also sturdy.

    And its kinda silly to give me shit about my clothes when I have my labret (lower lip) pierced. (Yes, I kept it in during the interview process.)
