  1. Natural Selection on Scientists Produce Fearless Mice · · Score: 0

There is a reason why mice carry the fear gene - it keeps them out of danger. There were probably "fearless" mice thousands of years ago but while they were being "fearless" and getting killed the other mice lived to breed.

Most of the DemonBreath people I know of are coffee drinkers. I believe that even people with the freshest breath and cleanest teeth tend to get Coffee Breath (TM) after a couple of cups of coffee. I personally try to use a mint or chew some gum after a cup for that very reason.

BTW just to stay somewhat on topic, doesn't each MRE come with some instant coffee?

As a new small business owner, I can honestly say that Google is now more of my friend than ever. I can quickly and easily find information on items I carry, my competitor carries or even items I might want to carry. I research online reviews and all-around better get to know products in my industry.

Google helps people to find my website and learn about me as well.

That having been said it does not remove my need to visit my competitors down the street but I don't always have that luxury.

  25. No matter how many versions there are, M$ should.. on Dvorak on Microsoft Confusing the Market · · Score: 0

No matter how many versions there are, M$ should make it easier (possible) to upgrade to a different version at a fair price. I know, this is asking *a lot*.

When I bought the upgrade to XP I purchased the $99 upgrade to Windows XP Home Edition because I really didn't need remote desktop abilities, etc. Later I decided I wanted XP Professional. I called M$ and wanted to pay the $100 difference (XP Pro was $199 at the time I originally bought XP Home). I was told that was not an option and that if I wanted to upgrade to XP Pro I would have to pay the $199.

Just something that Microsoft should consider - fair upgrade paths if they really do not want pirates on their hands.
