organizationEmployeeRating is annoying to type though. How I usually get around this is by using non-descriptive variables as I write (I'd probably just use "rating"), and then use Netbeans to rename the variable organizationEmployeeRating when I'm done (for other people's benefit).
Here's some more things that are or were taboo:
- Eating cats, dogs or horses
- Working on Sunday
- Burping around other people
- Marrying someone of another race
- Not cutting off parts of your genitals
- Women showing their faces/hair/ankles
If any of those things weren't taboo, the world would be a terrible place.
Or they could just try to give everyone similar bandwidth when the network is busy. Bandwidth caps would just make everyone angry. The situation that comes to mind is good shared hosting. When only one site is active, it gets all of the resources because why not? When more than one is active, they're balanced so each one is guaranteed at least 1/number of sites of the resources.
Not to mention that if everything they say does happen, while everyone else is being submerged under water, we get beach front property. Hmmmm.. GLOBAL WARMING ISN'T REAL!! PUMP AS MUCH CO2 AND METHANE INTO THE ATMOSPHERE AS YOU CAN!!
Question 1: To get to your applications, there is a button on the top or bottom corner of the screen. Is it a K or a foot print?
After that ask questions related to KDE or Gnome. It's not that difficult. Much easier in fact than convincing someone to tell you what version of Windows they have.
My phone is CDMA and it only stores the time in memory, so if you reset the phone it forgets the time and tries to get it from the network, but as long as it's on, it'll remember (even if you lose service). It's not a bad deal, since my phone can stay on for several days and I'm usually not out of service that long.
I don't understand why people hate Javascript so much. It's really not that bad.. I do wonder why they don't make another language available though, like Python.
The thing is, instead of releasing plugins, the Open Source community is just agreeing on standards in browsers (so theoretically, any brower that can do javascript and html5 can do whatever you want without a plugin).
Or possibly people who own Android phones already are likely to be more familiar with open source, and realize that you can get better games for free than the crap they sell in the iPhone store.
I heard recently in my atmospheric science class that they had to correct a bunch of temperatures from weather balloons because they changed the color of their boxes from black to white (which causes the temperatures reported to drop). I'm not sure if this is related, but it might be.
On the other hand, if the Fedora developers were writing a system for multiple users, you'd think they'd be savvy enough to add the primary user to the sudoers group and then make this new policy only apply to sudoers.
Sometimes prior art is hard to find. You'd probably want to base the fine on how obvious the prior art should have been (if it was blatantly stolen vs. plausable that they didn't know) and how quickly they fix their mistake (telling the patent office when they find the mistake).
For the record, in Ubuntu at least, it shows up in the menu as the GNU Image Manipulation Program. The only thing confusing about that is why it's called GNU and the log isn't a Gnu..

Do all of the updates work on the RC?

More like "people who read a lot are better at reading". That's not obvious at all..

Maybe gay people are invincible? That could explain why people are afraid of them.
You could run a pretty fast quicksort.. Not sure if that counts as 'useful' ;)

Nobody is suggesting arming merchant ships with 16" battleship guns.
Of course not. I suggest 16' battleship guns.
I tend to assume that anyone who installs the kubuntu-desktop package would know that they're using KDE.
Doesn't it say "Kubuntu" or "Ubuntu" every time you log in?

Everybody who feels like doing a prank is a member of Anonymous for the moment they are doing the prank and they are not as soon as the prank is done.
Not true. Anyone who claims to be a member of Anonymous is (whether they are currently participating in a raid or not).
Yup, that's what the free market is all about: The government paying someone to do something.
I think the phrase you're looking for is GNU/Chrome.

The Star Wars Battlefront PC games were pretty good. The console ports were decent too.
