To be fair the comparison between a 50 year old book and a 50 year old text document is hardly accurate. A 50 year old text file (provided such a thing exists) is comparable to something written in Latin or old English.

I think the treadmill is a really cool idea. I will probably get one should they ever hit $200 - $250.
The bike is a stupid idea. The posture it demonstrates is so horrible that users will have serious back problems and horrible carpal tunnel. Also a mouse is useless on that sort of sloped surface.

Current associations of liberal and conservative do not apply to antibellum and civil war politics.

Rather, the parent post indicates that there has never been a election where there have been accusations of fraud in presidential election. I know this to be wrong and the example which most quickly sprung to mind was the 1860 election. for more information see the wikipedia article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_preside ntial_election,_1860

I appolagize for not elaborating on my point.

Basing the rating of a game upon the available third party content seems very stupid to me. I'm sure i'm in the majority of slashdotter who think that changing the rating of a game because of mods is stupid.

this does not bode well for the future of video game ratings.
