I gave the CC built in WiFi a shot but it's horrible coverage and firmware (features) turned me away. I did a live chat and had them turn the WiFi off and they did it immediately, that way I could just use my own. It comes back on automatically about every 6 months (I'm assuming because of some upgrade) and I just live chat with them and have them turn it off. It has a big bright light when it's on so it's easy to tell. If this happens to me (near Houston), I'll just contact them again.
You're right...I'm never going to get a GM...wait, they are announcing next seasons Dancing with the Stars cast, oh goody, it's my favorite... sorry, now...what were we talking about again?
A defendant can commit the crime of shoplifting without actually leaving the store. All he needs to do is to move the property and exercise control over it in a way that is inconsistent with the shop owner's reasonable expectations as to how shoppers will handle merchandise.
Agreed. I got the pro 2 a few weeks ago and am very happy with it. I use it in meetings mostly but can do anything else (during the meeting) if needed. I can easily see it completely replacing my pc/laptop in the future.
Like everyone else is saying, you need to justify it in dollars as well as sense in detail. But when you present the case, frame it so that they can take the credit for doing it (yes, I'm serious). You both win.
SMART People will use browsers and websites that don't use the DRM tech, and "big media" will wonder why 1% of their traffic dropped off... must be the pirates!
And the other 99% will use will go on using whatever is handed to them.
You can set it up to automatically run updates at whatever time of day you want. It will turn on, update (including games) and then power itself back off after a period of inactivity. That is how I set mine and I never wait for updates anymore. That doesn't excuse the other behavior but it may help you with regards to updates.
Yes, it would be ironic if the asteroid that wiped out the human race was one we smashed into just to see what would happen.
But does it make phone calls?

Here is the link to the actual article without going through Fox and Watchdog.

Agreed. It's no fun reading the ramblings of a stoned ESL student.

They've been on the slippery slope for a while now. Not exactly evil, but not forthcoming either.

What's good for the goose is good for the Michigander!
I agree...developer and gamers. And finance, engineering, graphic design, manufacturing/planning, the list goes on and on.

Obviously you're not married.
I would touch it with a 10 foot stack of $20 bills. (Thats $559,200)
What would happen if it came really close but didn't hit? Like 2 miles up? What about 500 feet above land? 50 feet?
