Underrated? what the heck? overrated maybe, or flamebait.
The mods are on crack again.
It's not really very informative either, I just happened to read the linked article and look at some chart there, what's insightful these days? realizing that in most cases two plus two does in fact actually equal four?
Blame everything on the Linux clock wrapping at 497 days, well you might want to have that fixed eh?
I'd like it fixed so it can stopped being used as an excuse.
Or you could read the article and find it has nothing to do with anyone's uptime clock, it's by failed req% in the month of June, but that would be too hard.
Just like the sole purpose of nuclear weapons is to take life, yet they are also attributed to keeping the peace for 50 years until we could grow up a bit, some people still haven't grown up, so that's why we still have nuclear weapons and aircraft carriers.
Well we won't know unless we at least try, so far not one problem has occurred that is not related to "Monsato is evil", we haven't released giant killer tomatoes, we haven't made an army of cucumber mutants, guess what, nucelar testing didn't unleash prehistoric monsters or awaken a giant octopus or piss off Godzilla.
Movies are entertainment, not fact as most people who are against ge/gm foods seem to make it look like.
Your link for genetically modified food was full of FUD, not one thing on that page was something bad happening to anyone or anything due to the fault of gm/ge food and for the most part was links of "big organization"s blindly saying that gm/ge food/crops are evil or of acts of terrorism.
Blizzard doesn't charge for access to Battle.net for Starcraft, Diablo, Diablo 2, Warcraft 3 or the B.net version of Warcraft 2, in one interview or press release they claim ad revenue from the advertisements shown on the connection screen pay for Battle.net in it's entirety and then some, so I'd expect ex Blizzard employees to use the same tactic.
I don't think he's making a blanket statement because he is caught up in hating MS, he's generalizing what most of the other posts on this topic will be about, thereby making it unnecesary for other people to post anything at all since he has covered what 90% of/. will post about.
Freelancer is on there from 1999, just came out recently and at least for me wasn't too terribly great.
The Sims Online is on there too and for the most part, while succesful wasn't nearly as good as most people thought it would be.
Just because you have past successes certainly doesn't guarantee any new ones, and Triforge/Arena.net haven't exactly had any past successes, then again, you do have to start somewhere.
My sidewinder controllers work fine, I even bought extra gamepads because I liked them so much but they discontinued the model that I liked and replaced it with one with less buttons so when I found them at compgeeks.com I bought more, the gamepads are linkable so you can have 4 on one gameport, and my Precision Pro joystick is still going strong too.
So far all Arena.net (I remember they used to be TriForge) has made is something called Guild Wars that won best of show at E3, which means it's not done yet, they left Blizzard over 3 years ago, since that time they've been bought by a company called NCsoft Corporation of Seoul, Korea.
So saying all that, what innovative techniques are they using to make online gaming better? They haven't made anything yet, Daikatana was also promised to be some great good thing and was started by people in a similiar situation and look where Daikatana and Romero and company are today.
I'd like to see them succeed but I expected them to do so years ago.

Everything else except the toaster, NetBSD goes on that.

Is this PowerPlay modified, finished, and rebranded?
some comments about PowerPlay here( it's the second item listed on the page, about half way down)
Then again the Ultra Platinum Edition with no extra content Version is at WalMart for $4.99.
I'll argue the Frank Lloyd Wright example of genius.
The guy is a moron whose disasters should never have been let off a drafting table.
Nice article specifically on Falling Water falling apart.
His son was much more the genius as the inventor of the Lincoln Log.
In other words, it is a good thing.

if it's funny it should get +1 funny, not +1 informative
Just about every modern cpu manufactured today for desktop or server machines can easily do 1 gigaflop, this is just a "Mac's are great post"
How it got modded above -10 I haven't a clue, hopefully this will get cleaned up in the meta mods as this person does not deserve the karma
I think he was watching too many Apple comercials, the one where they compare the cpu to a supercomputer and have it surrounded by tanks
Sorry Apple, but you have never made the top 500 list and most likely never will, move along
They may be trying to sell the award winning Microsoft Services for Unix 3, that's right, Microsoft won a LinuxWorld award.
most text reused from my earlier post
I just want to thank you for most likely the single best post on this topic that is well written and thought out.
Your post should be applied the same whether it is to RFIDs or to GM/GE food/crops.

And that shows you the last time I logged onto B.net.
According to the article, it's a non persistent game world with persistent characters, just like Diablo 2.
Though there will be persistent areas which look to be like chat rooms basically rather than an actual part of the game.

At least that's how I read it.
if you're going to use an acronym at least use the right one, it's Never Twice the Same Color
Nope, but it was very talked about and "Of course it will be a great game, Romero is working on it"
Old E3 awards

Good luck to them.
While similiar, the Simpsons approach didn't require breaking the law to get the "prize".
Homer is the only person on that show dumber than Chief Wiggum.

But I also think it's not even worth pirating. :-)
