People are already having problems with their mail program crashing.
Just wondering, how does the review you linked to show a major problem with Mail? Personally, I think its a great feature if 1/2 times Mail crashes the user doesn't even notice. On the other hand, one user having one noticeable "crash" isn't a very good sample size. No filesystem access: which means you can't download stuff with the browser, no attaching files in mail
You're half right. But seriously, did you even read your own link? About 3/4 of the way down Gruber writes, "The only way to send a photo is to email it." I'm assuming if you can email a picture it would have to be an attachment, thereby making attachments available. I really can't think of anything else on your filesystem you would want to email anyways, with the possible exception of your music or videos, which you could *gasp* email from your regular computer!
You are right in saying there is no instant messaging client but you can easily work around this by having AIM forward your text messages to your iPhone via SMS.
This isn't really anything new. ALL music bought from the iTMS contains this information. I would be more surprised if they DIDN'T include it with DRM-free music.
The newest version of Escape Velocity, EV:Nova is available for Windows. Additionaly, there are plugins available for it that allow you to play the first 2 Escape Velocity games (EV and EV:Overrde) in EV:Nova.
Firstly, I believe you are referring to the energy sword in Halo. Nevertheless, I don't really think one can copyright lunging with a sword, even if it is bluish and glowy.
From the look of it, it seems that though you'll still need Supply Depots/Pylons (or prisms?)/Overlords to increase your maximum population, you can increase it beyond the 200 cap of the first Starcraft.
Metroid Prime ranks 147th with 1.92 units sold...
Wow, it must REALLY suck to be ranked #148th!
Hypothetically, how would one go about selling the other.92 copies? Reselling the first copy that was sold used for 92% the original price?
I'd just like to point a few things out.
1. Though the ladder is closed on most gateways, it's still available on the European one and in a few weeks players on all gateways will be able to form their own ladders/leagues.
2. Friendslists aren't limited to 20. I have 22 on mine right now.
3. The reason that not all the channels are listed is because there are literally thousands of them. Many players use bots so they can reserve certain channel names that they want or where their account has
4. AI is modifiable via map editors. Most 3rd party editors allow AI modifications and the vanilla version of Staredit allows custom AI scripts to a limited extent.
5. It is very simple for a mapmaker to make maphacks not work. If the mapmaker places certain unused buildings (such as an independant starport IIRC) that are normally unplacable in map editors in an area that isnt able to be viewed without a maphack, when a cheating player sees it Starcraft will crash.
While a lot of material downloaded via bittorrent is copyrighted, not all of it is. By banning it entirely they are also preventing the download of Linux distros, Project Gutenberg releases, etc. To use a lame car analogy, just because a student's car has the capability of damaging property or hurting someone doesn't mean the college should ban students from owning vehicles.
Ohio University has announced a policy that restricts all fire sharing on the campus network ... is this another nail in the coffin of internet freedom in American universities or a needed step to prevent illegal fire sharing? >
Oh No! How will pyromaniacs share now? But seriously, it's kind of sad that a major error like that can slip through... twice.
Of course the difference is that parking illegally can have serious consequences for road safety and/or congestion, unlike copyright infringement.
Actually, copyright infringement DOES have serious consequences for road congestion! You see, the internet is not a dumptruck. It is a series of tubes. Downloading clogs the tubes, slowing the internets down for everyone else.
Actually, they DID come in handy. When the local news here interrupted to say that Ford had died, they started a 10 or so minute long biographical story. It was really obvious that it had been prepared previously. While the narrator told Ford's life story they showed a slideshow of his entire life set to annoyingly upbeat background music. AND I missed the ending of the show i was watching;-p

I think you've underestimated the huge popularity of Internet Explorer 5 for Mac.

Has digg dugg itself? Or has it been slashdotted? Or... BOTH?

The screenshots and their captions are... interesting.
Tonight, we dine in Hellfire Peninsula!

Warning: Spoiler alert!
Ubuntu runs much slower from a Live CD than a regular installation.
Informative?
WTF?
standard 30 frames a minute
Wow! You definitely need a new TV then if you're only gettin a frame every 2 seconds.

Macs have had indexing since OS 8.5, over 8 years ago.
You know, if you want to practice offline in Halo you could always play the offline single-player mode (shocking!).
You must be new here, every week is advertise week.
