    Google would have absolutely no idea what the data contains and absolutely no way to retrieve it either.

    They could ensure the first n bits of the data are exactly the same (a header, meta data etc) making brute forcing so much easier.

    100% agree. I'm hosting on FreeBSD too with ZFS. Backups are such a breeze! Only one client left to convert over from Linux.

    You forget the reason why adding RAM makes things faster. Linux caches a tonne of stuff in RAM so constantly reading from disks won't occur.

    The govt used to mandate this. It was maybe 10-15 years ago they "unmandated" it. I think it was a maximum 2 minutes of continuous ads.

    Obviously you don't realise how many ads Australia puts in their shows. There is absolutely no chance I'm watching TV in Australia. I really don't understand how Australians can put up with it.

    I actually had a demo one of these type things and tcpdump'd the traffic. Found it used sopcast so easily made a version of the dongle in perl. All Korean content but streamed from China.

    When I went to see RMS at Sydney University giving a speech, I could only focus on the obese person leaning on the lectern drinking a 2L bottle of coke. Not exactly someone I'd look up to. Totally lost interest in him from then on.
