I live in Brisbane Australia and I bought a new Golf diesel 2011 model, goes like hell, great economy and lower pollution rating etc than any of the petrol locals could produce at the time. Better value for money, better car, easier on the environment... everyone a winner. Given a choice I will never buy a petrol engine again, the diesels are just that much better. At the time I took a bit of interest in the pollution and efficiency side of things and read around and stumbled upon a couple of links about the big polluters..... http://earthjustice.org/featur... http://www.theguardian.com/env... There is plenty more info out there, you just have to want to be informed. Happy reading guys and gals, I hope Santa is good to you all this year.

Only Microsoft ( and their boosters ) could call this an attack, heavens to betsy! I feel that Google is just helping their big buddy Microsoft fulfill their claim to make the world a better place to live in, after all, every now and then your average behemoth corporation needs a little help. Let's just hope that Google gives them every thing they deserve, payment in full of course, especially after all the help that Microsoft gave Google with that silly little Android thingy and all those little legal things that kept on popping up....... It's only fair that Microsoft gets back what it has generously given to others.

After a week or so they are hooked and love it. People can learn and some are eager to do so, just give them a little help, we all had it when we were 'windowed'. At the same time from this same bricks and mortar shop you could buy Windows 2000 Pro for $A699-00 -- more bargains! Of course it was possible to buy an OEM etc yada, yada. That's when I went looking to Linux for my next system which was Fedora Core 3, so that nails the timeline down a bit. The shop is still in business and growing because in general they move with the times and give excellent prices on hardware and they know how to take care of their customers. I must admit to observing a bit of rabid commenting all round, it adds colour to a conversation I reckon. Mr Schestowitz is prolific if nothing else but the guy from Limuxwatch is just plain wrong. Where everyone becomes a winner in this type of situation is that companies, like Microsoft as an example, will lift their game to produce better services and choices to their customers and customers will stop feeling like victims.
