I had no problem getting along with players. In fact you could say being nice was my problem, in the sense that plenty of girls wanted to make that connection.
But it sounds like you had some problems. Teams on COH were great for getting xp in missions and tf's. Last year was on great teams, and we got tf's done in 2 hours. And guys did talk and have lots of fun doing tf. In fact today played with great team, just like old times. But those regretfully are few and far between today.

The reason why EQ and City of Heroes blew it is because they drove away all the good gamers.I've heard this first hand about EQ, and observed it myself on COH. Haven't played WOW yet, but from what understand, they haven't missed a step.
As for COH, it has now mostly a bunch of idiots that dont have the first conception of team play. Am certified myself, and can tell you the test is just a bear minimum foundation. There is so much to learn beyond the test. Yes, there are plenty of dummies out there that are certified. But that doesnt mean the ones that arent certified are not dummies. Unfortunately for the uncertified ones, the ignorance approaches 100%.

First what is the researchers' definetion of intelligence.The word has several meanings. Second, what population sample was used for the research? Was it people in Ulster? If so, I dont know how they could determine anyone there was intelligent, male or female.
But seriously, there have been very good scientific studies on brain sex differences. It isn't a question of intelligence in these studies, just that men and women have more or less of one skill or emotion than the other gender, usually. Heck, if the someone has brains, they have brains, regardless of who they are. The rest is just raciest/sexist bullshit on both sides of the dispute.
Believe me, it isnt only the IT department. In a different profession worked for a large organization, and got paid big bucks as manager of a division of a department. The problem was that the department head was stupid and ignorant. This made him hyper insecure, and he tried to compensate for this by being manipulative, both inside and outside his department.
Unfortunately, what is probably happening where you work is that the owners dont know anything about IT and believe this guy's bs. At least that was how it was where I worked. And the hilarious thing was that this girl and I, both licensed professionals, were hired to clean up this smucks mess. Problem was he wouldn't let us because he was afraid how it would make him look.
My advice. Quit. If you are good, you will find a happy situation. That's what I did for less money, and I never regreted it.

You allow email addresses. Now with this email address, there can be an attachment, which then can open up the rest of the USA internet. In fact, if the US actually closed off Chinese addresses, someone in China could just use a web proxy or other means to get around the filter.
And in fact a web proxy in another country might be what the Chinese government would do to cover their tracks. No intelligence service, except maybe the CIA or those dummies at the Pentagon, would be stupid enough to use their own country as a base in intelligence gathering operations.

The internet is too open and porous. You cant block access, even in China believe it or not. Ancient history, but in the first Gulf War, US military tried to block Iraq's access to the internet. It didnt work. Today it is probably exponentially more difficult.
