According to Doug Cawley, Anascape's lawyer, his client argued for the ban because Anascape wants to enter the market itself, and they claim that Nintendo has "clogged the channel."
Hah... Tell that to MadCatz, or Game Infinity, or Pelican Accessories and others. They seem to be doing quite well at making alternative controllers. (With analogue sticks!)
Play Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles. I can tell you for a face that mice are much more accurate than what that is. Still a fun game, but not even close to accurate enough. At least you can stabilize your hand on your mouse.
I think the point is optimize for RAM usage to allow you to run more programs at a time, or allow memory-intensive programs to actually run. If you're playing a game that needs 1 of your 2 GB of RAM, and your web-browser, OS, IM Client, Mail app, ect... are using 1.5GB of RAM total....
The Supreme Court, from what I have seen, generally makes well reasoned, intelligent, and in general good decisions about the cases they hear. The problem is it's so expensive, and so hard to get your case heard that they don't decide on nearly as many cases as I think they should. Of course, there's only one Supreme Court of the United States, so it'd be tough to hear every case.
I belong to netflix and I rent heavily. I rip to my home NAS to queue things up which I'll watch later (at MY convenience). when I'm done, the movie may get kept or deleted, it depends on how I feel and how much spare storage I have.
The whole point of renting from NetFlix is that it is at your convenience. No late fees, so no pressure to watch the movie, and you queue your movies so you always get what you want. Want Undrworld before Harry Potter? Queue it first. Don't have time to watch Underworld? Just wait a few days, doesn't matter.
with a streaming 'DRM' player I'll not be able to schedule things on my terms. therefore this player is worthless to me.
Do you know how NetFlix streaming works? You pick what movie you want to watch, and it starts playing. You can start it again any time and also start from anywhere in the movie. This is scheduling on your terms. It's comparable to the free movies from OnDemand, but they never get taken off the catalog.
- I can't download and keep my extensions for future install. I really don't like using up bandwidth downloading the same extensions each time I install Firefox.
You might want to check out FEBE (Firefox Environment Backup Extension) and it's sister extension CLEO (Compact Library Extension Organizer). Those will backup all your extensions and even put them all in one XPI file for easy installation.
It depends on what a relevant degree is, and if that even matters. My AP Calculus teacher was an ex-engineer, and she was fantastic at teaching the subject. Knew what she was talking about and made the class interesting. On the other hand, my ex-engineering Pre-Engineering teacher was a joke and couldn't teach his way out of a paper bag. I believe they were both certified for education. It all depends on who the teacher is, not their credentials (though those certainly help).
If you read the guitarists response, he says that they did NOT use professional shots, and that most of the footage was indeed from CCTV cameras. He says they used (and quite obviously, I might add) handheld camera shots in between some CCTV shots in order to make the video look better overall.
This just looks like the spreading of a rumor that it was professional footage as fact.
So they had a security hole in their tracker, MediaDefender laced it with their illicit downloads, and when Revision3 locked it down MediaDefender attacked?
That makes more sense.
One of the problems is that a lot of these tests have nothing to do with whether you pass the course or not. If it has no impact on the grade of the student, they're more likely to goof off on it. There were a lot of smart people that I knew who did not take their standardized tests seriously and turned their bubble sheet into little pictures.
From reading the article, it sounds like Revision3 hosts their own content and distributes it through Bittorrent, and they allowed other torrents to use their tracker, which included illicit torrents, and then they stopped letting other torrents use their tracker so MediaDefender DoS'd them?
I'm very confused.;-;
This box only allows you to watch "Watch Now" movies on your Netflix account. It's only useful for Netflix subscribers to get their 'free' downloads straight to their TV.
With the Watch Now you don't usually get new releases. Mostly old and indie stuff, with some TV shows. I don't really think it's meant to replace your OnDemand service.
Well, if everyone thought like that you'd never get more performance out of your 4GB setup. You'd get the exact same performance, just with larger memory footprints.
Ironic!
HP is very relevant to to public. HP laptops are among the most popular out there.

But the democrats invented the internet!
I've just been using my laptop's built in microphone.
But those few were really, really good games...
24 hours is far less than a day?

Yeah, they only see a couple hundred cases a year, but there are thousands that apply to be heard. Your case has to be pretty important to get in.

Then it sounds like Netflix isn't for you. Your needs might be better served by an OnDemand service, or your local video store.
If it's anything like the normal Netflix streaming, there would be no subs.
Not everybody has a PC handy right by their movie-watching TV.

The test is also taken at 11, 14, and 16.
