  1. Sensationalism and ignorance regarding the embargo on Georgia Apple Store Refuses To Sell iPad To Iranian-American Teen · · Score: 5, Interesting

    1. This is old 2. This has nothing to do with race, ethnicity, or 9/11 3. This has nothing to do with Apple 4. This has to do with the US embargo on Iran, which includes selling goods to anyone in the US that could take them back to Iran. This is law. This is not Apple acting out of nowhere. It's in their legal terms that states they follow US embargo laws. If you don't like them, tell your congressman to change US embargo law or to lift the embargo against Iran. Good luck with that.

  23. Re:Second? on Korea Unveils World's Second Android · · Score: 1, Informative

    Wiki states that

An android is a robot made to resemble a human, usually both in appearance and behaviour. The word derives from the Greek andr-, " meaning "man, male", and the suffix -eides, used to mean "of the species; alike" (from eidos "species"). The word droid, a robot in the Star Wars universe, is derived from this meaning.

Your "tin cans" didn't resemble humans, therefore they are not androids. There is a MAJOR difference between Robot, Android, and Cyborg.

To be fair, and correct for that matter, post-humans, otherwise known as "super heroes" are not being asked to register as "Human WMD's." They are being asked to register as law abiding crime fighters so someone can be held accountable for destruction of public property and life. I won't get into my views on it, since I am an avid comic book reader and highly invested in Civil War, but don't write an article about it if you don't know ABSOLUTELY EVEYRTHING about the subject. 'nuff said.
