It probably protects the teachers more than anything else. If you're a teacher and your student posts pictures of themselves getting drunk, what is you legal obligation? Are you an accessory? What if the student dies from drinking and parents sue you for not doing anything when you knew about it? etc Also there are privacy issues regarding teachers and studens (not as bad a doctors) that can be easily violated.
I'm not saying it's not a stupid law, but to be honest you have to be a really stupid teacher to friend your students and expect your job to be safe.
1. A laptop doesn't have to be used all the time, so when you leave it on the couch while you're doing something else it can partially recharge. 2. Battery doesn't have to be next to panel. 3. Panel on a calculator doesn't get hot. I'm guessing they aren't going for the most efficient panels. 4. I don't think laptop display work that well in direct sun either, so it probably isn't designed to be in the sun. 5. Solar panel probably is a bad term. Light panel? Photon panel? IDK.
if you replace windows with linux then make sure you get your windows tax back otherwise microsft still makes money from you and they don't care if you don't use it. or get a linux machine to begin with.
I summarized your post in less than 140 characters but according to you there is nothing worth saying in it.
I have it completely vice versa: I don't simply see anything worth saying that can be said in only 140 letters unless it's a link which i could go to directly.
I can't find citation, but i remember a peer reviewed article about how even dim lights (e.g. street light through curtains) affect quality of sleep even though they don't wake you up...
Fast acceleration is very useful, particularly for overtaking on single-carriageway roads, but it's not a massive factor in highway safety.
how about when the idiot in front of you goes too slow on the entrance ramp on the freeway instead of speeding up to freeway traffic speeds and you are stuck entering the freeway too slowly. i bet acceleration is important then.
You are at a university with adults.
My comments for teachers not professors, teaching minors and being "friends" is more awkward.

I'll be honest, I'm not going to read your post because it's too long and I don't know who you are to warrant wasting time reading it.

they should pass a law against starting a sentence in the subject and completing it in the message. It's getting ridiculous.
as long as you don't define "planets" as "girls" and "orbit" as "cup".
i thought radioactive decay was the source of the heat in the earth core, so the pool analogy doesn't work unless you add a heater.
except inkjet ink :)
Who's going to want a Nokia phone running Windows?
Er...me?
is it lonely?
yeah he's not talking about a gas though
I don't tailgate. I have pulled over on the ramp before waiting for cars in front to merge before I start my acceleration.
