Where I grew up, the only Elementary school that had buses were the two "country" schools that covered the less densely populated areas on the outskirts of town. I walked to school every day, it was only a few blocks away, and I imagine if your kid went to one of the "city" schools, they all could have walked too. Of course this was in a town of 15,000, but I totally agree with you, city size should not matter. Elementary schools should be the ultimate local school.
The new software also supposedly makes you re-buy apps that you've already purchased, just so they can allow multiple accounts on one phone (have people really asked for this?).
Well, Ubuntu users get the Ubuntu Firefox add-on which has actually conflicted and broken other popular add-ons like Tab Mix Plus. I never actually figured out what that add-on even does before I disabled it.
Not that I necessarily agree with this, but there might be different publishers of a game depending on the region, and publishers want to make sure that if they're selling a game in a particular region, they want to get the sales exclusively.
If I was trying to take down sue-happy Apple, I'd probably try to stay underground as long as possible. At least until the hardware was ready and nearly in the warehouses.
Now if only Sprint would get off their butt and release their phone. I really want an Android phone but not willing to switch over to T-Mobile just for the phone.
I'm not really familiar with Jefferson's communist tendencies (especially since he was greatly in favor of a weak federal government, personal liberties, and against nationalized banks), but your quote really has nothing to do with communism either. The freedom of ideas is independent of communism or democracy, it has more to do with what rights the individual has. But I guess it just goes to show how lame this article is.
This will be the ultimate test to see if time travel actually exists! If I wake up tomorrow morning and Vice President Cheney is dead, then we'll all know that traveling to the past and changing history can be done!
I only read the first article, but the big deal with L4D's AI was that there was this "Director" dealing out zombies depending on the situation, etc. Do we get any control over it with this?
Dude, the story is the characters. It really is a fantasy based soap opera where all the excitement is the interaction between characters and you wondering whether your favorite will die on the next page or not.
If you really want a main plot, Daenerys (sp?) is going to come overseas with a huge army and then confront The Song of Ice and Fire (aka a main character in the books that I won't spoil), and either they fall in love or kill each other, or both. Everything else is just more reasons for more character interaction, in my opinion.

Why Bother With DRM?

Brad Wardell of Stardock and Ron Carmel of 2D Boy
I don't know who that is but a few days ago I...
Stardock develops non-DRM'd games like Sins of a Solar Empire and now Demigod. They always make a big todo about how there's no DRM and then SecuROM (the DRM guys) get upset that they didn't use their DRM and say they'll download their torrents. Stardock has a Steam-like product called Impulse that many have said is akin to a light form of DRM, but still DRM.
2D-Boy are the developers of World of Goo, a popular indie game that was once reported to have something like a 90% piracy rate, which was argued by many to be unbelievable, etc. World of Goo has no DRM.

Will my original subscription which was supposed to run through the end of the year be continued? Or was it conveniently lost?

My wife likes to make me and her in the game and then make them have like eight children together...
This is my life.
And using KnoScript I can stop those pesky macros from running whenever I bring up a new spreadsheet.
You wouldn't steal a space shuttle...

Isn't that coming out in October?
From the first picture, all the rolls are 4's, 5's, and 6's! Where's the Yahtzee game that runs off this?
This will be the ultimate test to see if time travel actually exists! If I wake up tomorrow morning and Vice President Cheney is dead, then we'll all know that traveling to the past and changing history can be done!
Hmm... wait, would I be typing this then?

But who turns the page?
George R. R. Martin's response to you.

Where does it say in the summary or article anything about critics other than that the movie is winning them over?
Looks like the Duke to me, too bad about all the circumstances involved. Seems like it would have been decent at least.
We don't want another Cortlandt Homes incident.
Yeah, someone should tell the school that Shelter Rock Jewish Center is domain squatting on srjc.org
Just merge with your WoW account... are you saying you never played World of Warcraft?!
Well, he does cite the Wall Street Journal, I'm not sure how "booming" they actually are but he at least has an example to back up this move.
