    He was probably talking about non-US dollars. In Australia the majority of new dvds are AU$29.95-39.95
    Though you can get tons of cheap movies between AU$5-15.

    But trying to make discrimination go away by trying to outlaw generalizations is like trying to make electrocution go away by outlawing electricity. It would be stupid to try and in the real world it's not possible anyway.

    Just like the RIAA or MPAA suing potential customers to stop pirates, it's not possible and it'd be stupid to try.

    Direct X is good from a users perspective because its only one complete library, it comes with the OS, 98% of windows games use it,
    windows people normally only need 2 libraries DX and OpenGl unlike linux which normally requires users to download and install 10 or more different libraries
    Programming side: It is a bitch to try and learn to program with it
    Though I imagine that it becomes easier to use once you know how.
    Also it seems to be more secure then other M$ products.

    On my xp home pc the default permissions seemed to be everyone has full control.

    trying to customize permissions in xp home to not let guest write to my files
    i ended up screwing up and instead disabled sharing in the firewall
    and reverted my changes by doing this in cygwin's bash shell
    $ cd /cygdrives/c
    $ chmod -Rv 777 *

    You could say that the government is corrupt and accepts lots of bribes from industry, but that's not capitalism at all.
    So in other word america isn't a capalist country then(eg the bribes from various ip groups)

    Well at least the BSA is wanting to protect the income of various quality software such as MS office,Visual Studio, WoW , 3ds max, photoshop


    Unlike the MPAA with crappy movies or the RIAA with Briteny Spheres.

    Though I am aware that the BSA considers the GPL software is pirated because its free and refuses to defend ip of quality programs like Apache, Linux(the Kernel), etc

    what happens if the virus spoof /etc/hosts or %systemroot%\system32\drivers\etc\host file to redirect the av scan site to a false scan site

    If you had to do it in the shortest number of lines, why didn't you just delete all the CR and LF
    characters after the semicolons so it fitted on 1 line.
