"The latest U.S. Census Bureau estimates, however, show a record 8 million illegal immigrants in the United States, increasing at the rate of 500,000 a year."
While it's true the vast majority, if not all, of these immigrants are unskilled and will not be taking over IT jobs, they are taking over many jobs that would be filled by low income workers while driving down the wage categories at the same time.

Mod DuncMan up, he's got it right. The light was red for a reason. I hate it when I routinely see people gun it when the light turns yellow when they have plenty of room to stop for a minute. My backyard faces an elemantary school. From my deck we have often seen people blast by doing 70. It got so bad the complaints to our HOA ended in them hiring off duty police officers to patrol here.
I'd rather not see red light camera or speeding ticketing systems. But when I do see them, they don't bother me. I don't run red lights nor do I speed.
If people think that a certain red light lasts too long, then get a bunch of people together and petition whoever is in charge of it to get it changed. The same goes with speed limits.
"FSU's High Magnetic Field Lab, more specifically my Kenpo teacher, just broke 7 world records, and brought the record for a superconducting magnet to 25 Tesla. Check it out at FSView and a more detailed article here. Now if only our football team was that cool."
What makes you think people here know something about 'football'?
Is that what happened with Macrovision being put into all DVD players? They seem to sell just fine at Best Buy, Sears, Circuit City, etc. Did they shoot themselves in the feet also when they did this?
The average consumer will buy them up because they won't know alternatives even exist, or if they are legal.

Runied more lines than most murderes? Are you kidding me? Do you know the impact of families when a loved one is killed? This was a freaking computer virus. It was fixed with a simple update. Sure, some people lost a day or productivity, some sites were shut down. You saying that missing a day to go to the DOT to get your damn car tags renewed is more damaging than the loss of a human life in a tragic murder shows how stupid you really are. It's no wonder you posted as AC.
How about Planetside? Neverwinter Nights Shadows of Undrentide? Enter the Matrix? Monopoly Tycoon? Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided? Madden 2004? Rise of Nations etc... oh wait, you're trolling...
Easiest arrest / lawsuit ever. The first piece of spam sent over the network, just click on where it's going and see whats for sale. Contact said company and follow the money - the trial will always end at the spammer. Gotcha. Now sue the living daylights out of them, not to mention arresting them for the millions of dollars caused in damages all over the world caused by the virii.
Yeah. The sales of bullets would skyrocket as Americans blast them off the roadways like we did when they tried to convert us over to metric speed signs!
That's 838 more than I thought would sign up. I'm actually quite amazed by the number, the RIAA should be touting this all over the news.
Have fun 'getting nailed'. Uh, yeah. All the FCC will do is knock on your door and tell you to take the antenna off.
Say hello to internet video porn calls. This will be a multi-billion dollar market.
Because these companies already have your acceptance to share this information when you sign their contracts to use their services?

Screw Jedi.
Give me manning a turret on a MonCal cruiser attacking an enemy player-driven Star Destroyer.
Give me getting 15 friends and forming a lance of Tie Fighter to lead that attack.
Give me piloting a dropship to drop off AT-ATs to attack a rebel base.
Give me piloting a snowspeeder to attack said AT-AT.
Give me taking over bases and planets to achive an ultimate winning goal and resetting the game.
Give me making illegal cargo runs for the rebels for profit.
Give me upgrading my cargo running ship.
Aww hell. Give me Jedis also. This *IS* Star Wars, after all.
Give me running around and killing animals with blasters and healing mind damage in a bar and... hmm never mind. I don't want that. I want Star Wars.
It's a peep hole. Get real REAL close to your monitor and stare inside it!

Thats like saying 'Hey everyone, come into my house and copy this CD of Microsoft Windows XP Professional and walk away for free!'
Simply put: you are facilitating a crime, and sorry to inform you - but that's illegal.
Yep, a 30-60 second skip is a must. I love it in my Dish PVR unit. I'd rather not buy something withour one, thats for sure.

In the near future...

How about DVD players that you can buy at Best Buy, Sears, etc that don't have Macrovision built in?
The list would be very short. Zero, to be exact (I've looked).
If the entertainment industry has their way, all hardware will have DRM. Obtaining non-DRM will be difficult for the average consumer.
Really, why not?
Been done long ago, posted on /. even.
"All you had to do was record the conversation..."
Which is illegal unless you have a court order to do so, right?
I bet you are in the same nut camp that wants to punish the gun makers every time someone goes off the deep and goes on a shooting spree.
That darn insecure Smith & Wesson!

Maybe they should patent the idea instead?

You can't take 8 hours out of your 365 days a year to sit down and learn how to setup a server and do basic security on it?
You don't deserve to have a business. Close shop, go apply for a waiter position at the local TGI Fridays.
