My first is on the way and I'm already anxious for the day when he/she will be able to play 'legos'. I have two siblings, but was fortunate enough to have the first child, so I inherited the entire collection.
Speak for your self. I enjoy owning my own home. I enjoy not hearing every word that utters from my neighbors mouth. The small town life suits me just fine.
I had that happen in the dentist's office. I almost had a heart attack. I went back and replayed that scene, but he didn't appear behind me. Freaky as hell.
I'll stick with netflix. I like being able to get one in the mail and sit on it for a day or two. I often will lend out good movies so friends and relatives can save a bit. Even with lending, I'm still watching around 7-8 films per month and the convenience is worth the extra bit of cash.
Pssh. I had a simple solution. I put my WAP in the basement. Covers my whole house and ends about 1 foot past my exterior walls. Hard to hack with you'd have to be leaning against my front door.
I have a friend who works for the feds. She said one of her coworkers filed a grievance because they were told that they needed to stay at their post for the entire day (minus breaks, lunches and the bathroom). She told me about another coworker who shows up in the morning, boots up his PC and leaves. Government = corruption and incompetence.
She's playing to the crowd. Politics is nothing more than making your opponent look like a worse option than you appear to be. I think the Simpson's 'Kang and Kodos for president' episode perfectly represents our current system.
I really don't care how difficult it is. If they want my eyeballs, they're going to have to figure out a more intelligent to get me to watch. For now, I'll stick to my 'skip 30 seconds' button.
Dish network has been pretty good so far. Their menu structure works well and the PPVs are relatively inexpensive ($3.99). Combine that with my HD-DVR and I'm very happy. I'm staying out of the war, but netflix does carry BR and HD-DVD.
I'm currently experimenting with this. I produced one case (24 12oz bottles) of a honey wheat ale. Six Corona bottles and the rest are standard brown. All the bottles are conditioned in a (relatively) dark cabinet. The batch should be ready to drink by next weekend, so I'll be able to test the light theory.
Agreed. I refuse to keep purchasing physical media. I am now told that I can't rip media off the disc because I don't own the media. They also will not replace the disc if it is damaged. They're not getting another dime from me until we regain our rights.
People keep commenting that the Eee is extremely cheap. The problem is, I purchased an Asus laptop for my wife a few months ago.
1.6Ghz Pentium M 512MB ram 120gig HD 15" 'Ultrabright' screen
$400.00
Granted, I had to wipe Vista and reload XP, but it works beautifully. She uses it to store recipes and photos as well as email, web browsing, etc. I really don't see the advantage (besides the weight) of an Eee.
I agree with the other poster, but you will want to use at least component cables. You can find just about any cable for a very reasonable price if you search around the web. I found a HDMI and optical audio bundle for a couple of bucks on amazon.
The owner of the BlackHawks (hockey) made an exclusive contract with comcast to air the the matches back in the 80s. As a result, they now have an entire generation that doesn't give a crap out their local NHL team and will could potentially lose a massive amount of future revenue.

To quote todays Dilbert:
"Stop ruining my slogans with your logic!"
I loved the post though.
I think you meant clean out Washington.

Amen!
Since wishes are being granted, I'd like to see Jack Thompson smited.
Kids still fly. I had to fly into Orlando awhile back and every child had to present a state ID card. Just another poke in the ass by the feds.
The difference between most major religions and Islam is the other religions (for the most part) condemn violence.
Many schools have 'morality' codes. You sign a contract and suffer the consequences if you screw up. It's that simple.

Looks like you got a funny mod. As a person in the same situation, I'd say it should have been insightful.

We're waiting for an available runway = we're gluing the wing back on.

I believe they're tied to your Nintendo account if you register at Nintendos website.

Agreed. I had one launched full force into a concrete wall. The battery cover popped off and the batteries scattered. Still no issues. :)
You should have been modded up. This was VERY funny. Thanks!
