    Doesn't everyone who has a page linked from slashdot get page rank? I'm not exactly sure why people are only allowed one submitted story, otherwise they are spamming. Even Roland wasn't that bad - the stories were usually good. The use of asterisks in his name makes it stand out more. If you look at his site it's not winning any awards... looks like a personal fan site.
    In short, get over it. Some people get more than one story accepted, and some people have web sites.

    Oh, and if it weren't for NASA's supersonic experiments, cars probably wouldn't be as fast as they are now either; Carbon Fiber, high heat resistant materials, metal alloys, aerodynamic profiles, and more, came from strenous testing and retesting at the hands of engineers using technology adapted from NASA.

    Too bad they weren't aiming for fuel efficiency.

    matter of scouring a few forums for command line tools, huh? Hmm the only command line tools I have found are for Windows, and those still require the directx security to decrpyt. Please enlighten us as to what native mac tools you use to decrypt the stream?
    The dealdatabase and tivocommunity forums dont currently have mac native tools.....
    I wish I was proven wrong here :(

    Bill Nye was a bit after my time, but does anyone remember Mr. Wizard on Nickelodeon? Apparently he was around even when my parents were growing up, on NBC.

    Why not? Seriously curious.. can you not open it up and put your own PC2700 ram in? This picture looks like the memory slot is in an accessible location.
