10$ a month for not-unlimited and only 100day retention? wtf
I use powerusenet and i only pay 15$ a month for unlimited transfer, damn good speeds (max my connection at 2.5MB/s (20Mbps)), and 200 day retention. I gave my referrer link, but could always just take off the referrer info on the end of the url.
on topic: Lars Ulrich - what a complete douchebag. Hes the one who started all this lawsuit business for pirates.. seriously, what a cockknocker.
I've never experienced any problems with pidgin, and I've been using it since way back when it was still "gaim" and slackware 7. The linux versions had no problems for me at all... maybe you should look into what you're doing with it.
offtopic, but i actually know someone who writes everything in fortran. my boss and i have seen the man write opengl calls in fortran... its a tad unsettling.
ACTUALLY, both are correct. The bit was off of the dvd Doin' It Again, and the album was Parental Advisory Explicit Lyrics. It went "selling is legal, fucking is legal. why isn't selling fucking legal? why should it be illegal to sell something thats perfectly legal to give away?" The wording should be almost perfect. i could look it up if you'd like. Mod offtopic i'm sure for me!
No one has said the simplest way. Slap any data you dont want them looking at on an external and put it in your carry on. I travel with 10-15 external usb drives, and no one says ANYTHING about them. also, because there is no chance of them being a weapon (And they go thru the xray machine), they cant legally confiscate them. Well, i mean, they could i suppose, but that would bring along a few lawsuits from my employer.. either way, they never mess with your usb drives.
I manage to avoid getting speeding tickets all the time. Usually, by speaking the same way as the GP. Most cops are quite nice. Some have a stick up their ass, but as long as you're not a dick they're pretty cool.
NZBs are a godsend. Searching thru groups manually sucks. But yes, chances are its his ISP's retention. http://www.nzbs.org/ is a good free search engine. I pay for ngindex access too, because its 24$ a year.
My girlfriend has no problem with me teaching our kids linux, on one condition: we have one windows computer so when their teachers ask them to do something for class and they MUST use windows, they can. This is all hypothetical, but my girlfriend and I have actually talked about that recently.
I've been in Canada a month on business, and heres my take.
Other than the insane prices for things up here, along with how expensive gas is, I'd gladly become a Canadian. If they let us get jobs right away, hell, I might actually do it!
You'd be amazed the amount of shaking a hard drive can take. In the van we use for work, we've got 8 120GB drives that are driven around in a rackmount with no shock absorption and the van is beat all to hell the way we drive. The hard drives are still working amazingly well.
And to chime in on the "why do you commute to work" thing, I'm currently 6 hours driving distance from home. The secret: I was sent out of town for work. all of my work is out of town. At one point, I was in Boca Raton, FL for almost a month. This time, I'm down in Lawrence, Kansas doing ABSOLUTELY nothing (and getting paid) until they send me off to Calgary, Canada. Also, I get paid for my 'commute' time, so its all OK.
A "PRIVATE ROAD" sign does not mean its not publicly owned pavement. What they're doing is completely legal. The company I work for does the same thing only much higher quality and they aren't posted on the internet. If i can see your house from the road, its legal for me to take pictures. Private roads are almost always owned by the city anyway, and the people who live on them whine until they get a private road sign. Its the same with gated communities. your tax dollars pay to get their roads fixed, then they say you can't drive on them.
Fuck Rich People and their stupid gated communities. And even more so, Fuck Wackenhut!
I've watched it online, and I've gotta say, good job on their part. They learned that if you make the ads so short, you can put ads in without pissing people off. It uses flash, but its way better quality than Youtube, thank god.
Note: What the summary forgot to mention is that from what I hear from the other article I read about this, the old archive of episodes is going to be up too eventually.
How do you figure its a server? In that same regard, any computer that sends data to the internet is a "server". In fact, a server is simply a computer program that uploads data to another computer. That means that your comment was posted by a server, to a server.
And what about the people who get harassed by the cops? Where do we get to post our problems? oh, you say they're fine people, so I cant say anything about them?
For instance, theres one cop in my town who doesnt like me even though the most illegal thing i do is speed, and not while hes on duty. He gives me a hard time for carrying a knife, on the edge of my pocket where you can see it, that is completely legal in my state (under 3.5" in blade length). He's threatened to file "trespassing" charges for a place that the people who own it don't want me charged with trespassing. This is the same town where I was doing nothing wrong, i was just out at 3am taking my girlfriend home, sober, and not swerving at all, and they decide to pull me over for *drumroll please* not having license plate lights! Why did he pull me over for that you ask? because he followed me for 2 miles and couldn't find anything else wrong. In our town/city/county, a cop can not follow you for more than 2 miles (if they're looking at you for reasons to pull you over).

I don't even know what the hell you just said.
PS: Stupid speed filter
This is !news. Itunes+ music has always had your info in it, and they've even TOLD you they have it in there.
yeah, they do. "General Aviation" sections are at every airport, whether or not you know they are.

No, "Scooby Doo, Where Are You?" was the one that had famous guest stars. the "new scooby doo movies" is the crap they make nowadays.

Yeah METAR/TAF reports look a lot like SMS. But METAR is far easier to decode than SMS garbage

.. You know, that seems strange, since the purpose of a FLAT RATE plan is to know what your bill is going to be from month to month.
Funny, I grabbed Continuum from a newsgroup. maybe you should SEARCH. then again, maybe you just want to believe that newsgroups arent very good.

Why the hell is this news? a new distro comes out every few seconds.
SLOW FUCKING NEWS DAY

any LED can be removed. If its soldered to the board, just unsolder and place a jumper in its place. Thats really not that hard.

its not a van. the streetview vehicle is a car with a ball on top of it, 12 cameras total on the top

The ads were about 5 seconds long.

Both. Reading is faster. Writing, i cant remember the source, but i believe its a bit slower.
