If it's like master pages in Expression Web, then that's not quite right... Instead of calling a separate file for the header/footer/etc when the page is generated, the page is kept static.
When you modify the master page, there are areas of the page that you designate as editable regions, and so when anything outside these editable regions is updated in the master page, the change is replicated on to each associated page.
This is assuming these master pages are similar in functionality to the 'dynamic web templates'...
FolderShare (link) could be what you're looking for. When any changes are detected between the shared folder on different machines, they're synced. And the data's not stored remotely.
Would those in-ear earphones work as a rather simple way of blocking the ad? I don't know how it works, but I'd rather listen to the worst band in the world (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=worst+band+in+the+world) than crappy intrusive advertisements.
This may be the most requested feature, but I'm sure there are many who don't care for Linux and can't be bothered to request that Linux be installed. It's not as though they've got every Dell customer to make a request; only those who want something changed...
It's too early to make sense... What I'm trying to say is that the proportion of people who have gone to the feedback site is likely to be rather small from the total customer base.
What? I've replaced the power supply, installed an additional hard drive, DVD+/-RW drive, and a graphics card and TV card in my Dell PC. Oh, and upgraded the memory twice.
My sister now has my "Proprietary" PSU in her computer I made from pretty standard parts.
I don't know if this has been commented on already, but there is an option in the IE settings that controls this setting. Does no-one on/. ever go through application settings first? Under scripting: "Allow programmatic clipboard access" I think it is.
Unless this is something completely different...
(Oh, and please fill in my survey for my dissertation! http://www.survey.flere.co.uk/:) It's about online shopping and only takes less than 10 minutes! Thanks)
That analogy with calculators does not apply because the GIMP is no 'better' than Photoshop/PaintShop Pro (whereas a calculator is better than an abacus IMO)....
Well, let's just go back to using Notepad then. I'm sure the functionality of Notepad is included in over 99.9% of Microsoft Office Word documents.
The fact is, the features such as Ink and voice are there if necessary. I may have only used them once or twice, but they are there.
Well what's to stop manufacturers putting in the instructions that after purchasing such a device that the customer has to format it themselves?
If the device needs software, surely that comes on a CD anyway?
Also, notice if you click the link for "The Original" it was written December 1996...
I mean -- look at these 'statistics':
The November 1996 browser statistics from Interse show the following distribution of browser usage:
Netscape 2: 13% of users
Netscape 3: 47% of users
Internet Explorer 3: 28% of users
Other browsers or earlier versions: 13% of users
Percentages sum to 101% due to rounding. Thus, 13% of users would not even be able to see a site with frames.

I always thought that XML was supposed to by this mystical format that everything supported.
Was I informed wrongly?
And with this OpenDocument format, won't everyone simply go for the best word processor (for example) unless they have ties with a different one?
This is not new. It was on the regional news a couple of months ago here in the UK.
It was a constant high pitched noise and the idea is that as you get older, your hearing deteriates such that you can't hear it.

There's no such thing as a Pentium 4 Celeron! Pentium 4, or Celeron, but not both...
Umm... You might want to rephrase that. Ever built a PC? Ever noticed it doesn't have an OS straight away? Idiot.
AC, think before you post... You can log the GPS data!
That's what we do at work for peak period traffic analysis. Duh!
They might do a prequel... Halo: The Beginning, or Halo: The Eternal Hunt for the real WMD...
Maybe the cost?
I think the 600Gb storage capacity is a dead giveaway...
Does the windows startup sound count?

If it's DRM'd so that it only works on limited devices you have to buy it multiple times...
That increases the value to someone anyway!

I'm glad I've switched back to IE7!

Don't forget though, that Class II bluetooth (which is the most commonly used form) only has a range of 10m.
I think that's right anyway.

Damn... Should have put line-breaks in...
But the player looks awesome =/

It runs fine on my ol' P133 :S
Not on the P75 though but win95 didn't run properly on that either...
