How does your personal pleasure center measure up? My job allows me too meet many well endowed people. Invariably we get to talking about our wangs. I've run across some very sophisticated tadgers. Some people I've met have enough to have themselves classified as "hung like a fucking horse". They run this at home, and usually just for the hell of it. How do the stiffys of Slashdot readers measure up?" How long is your member?
"Here's a description of mine:"
Well, us purists may be ripping to a lossless format for other reasons than quality. For example, to avoid having to re-rip 200 cds, as you are currently doing:) If I needed my entire collection in mp3 for some reason, I could do it with a bash script overnight.
I love the library part of amarok. It was the playing I never could get to work. Mp3, ogg vorbis and others were fine, but FLAC files would just produce silence. Bit of an inconvinience when my whole library is FLAC.
Since xmms randomly stops playing on FLAC files as well, and rhythmbox (gstreamer) - don't get me started(i think this must be some conspiracy. I've invested more time in trying to get FLAC to work with various music players than I have during my 1,5 years of gentooing (no more...)).
MPD, otoh, plays everything fine:)
Besides, on Windows (work): itunes? wtf? give me musikcube any time.
I've never used iTunes, but i don't think it plays ogg vorbis, flac and other open formats, do it? I don't have any mp3s, since all my music is self ripped, and I want it lossless. I use FLAC.
It seems to me like Slashdot blames easily exploitable technology (eg. windows) all the time. Few people would have a proplem with RFID used to simplify workflows, but it seems that many are not sure big corporations or goverments won't misuse it somehow.
I would say that's two completely unrelated areas. Perhaps the candidate just lacks expeience applying for jobs, or is always nervous around new people, or some such.
If they are competent, they will still know what to do with a smoking server.
We could just replace all the opium fields and tobacco fields with soy fields....
I can see playing an NPC, but playing monsters would just suck. Your only job would be to loose.
A friend of mine tells me that during classes, half the students play wow. Music sucks anyway, so why bother with it?
I never watch TV, but that's probably because I'm always at /. ...

Hehe, "A document with that name is already open."[not my blog]. God, that's annoying.
At work, i use bblean. It has saved my sanity many a time.

Well, no reason why it shouldn't, at least under linux. Give it some time (you do know about libipoddevice?).
Heh, with the recent nVidia driver update for linux, the drivers calculated DPI wrong. I loved firefox very much right then.
They could still propably use data you submit to them, like browser headers (including cookies), search queries etc.
However, few sane people would argue that it could be misunderstood, given the context.

Well, at least they use Unix :)

Thank you, Firefox Web Developer Extension!
Looking forward to gplFlash.....
Not to mention that camera phones are actually illegal in most theaters and on most concerts.
Well, personally I don't mind the plants as much as the waste.
Would you want a nuclear waste treatment plant in your back yard?
uhhm, how is this offtopic? Read parent post before moderating, perhaps?
Well, most of the words got the first ad last letter right, plus the number of letters, and that's all you need - the rest is given by context.
heh.
Good riddance to that Bug ridden crash prone piece of junk
more like a million google graphical ads set out, and then were adblocked.
You should not be amazed. The reason for this disbelief is, as you so nicely but it yourself, 'Google is just like any other company'.
