If the optics were powerful enough, and the Hubble could be turned around, it would make a great spy satellite. However due to the Hubble's age, even if it was a possibility, the hubble would be too prone to failure.

I have to say, I did not get any soldering skills in my vo-tech class. I will be getting them in a later term in my associate degree program. I have soldered before, but I put the device (rectifier) in backwards and never fixed it. I don't know if my soldering would be reliable or not (probably not). Even if a tech has soldering skills, most of the time, the tech will not replace the caps (unless it is their personal machine) but replace the motherboard.

I'm probably burning karma here, but, please, bring back the analog MicroTacs with the .6 watts of power. I can't even get a Tri-Mode Phone, and in some areas, analog is the most reliable mode.

As far as fire goes, I can store my backups in my girlfriend's room as this building is designed that a fire in F-Dorm (where I'm at) cannot get to the next dorm (E or G). My girlfriend is in B-Dorm. If I would store backups, it would be at home (where my parents live) as it is another part of the state. I would jabber some more, but I have to get my ass to class.

Ok, I know that I'm at a school for disabled students (I have Asperger's) and there are two type of rooms. There are single rooms where you have about half the size for everything and your regular double. Each room has a closet (single room closests lock), a sink with mirror, drawers (double rooms have a locking drawer), a shared bathroom, a bed, a counter (desk), a desk lamp (yep Its included), a shared bathroom (with shower in G and H dorm), phone and data hookup (the data hookup is more for school personel I think), and a cable TV hookup.

We have the following special rules:
No Refrigerators (unless perscribed by doctor and approved by dorm counsoler)
    No Electric Blankets
No Guitar Amps without permission (permission is usually granted, it is more for noise concerns)
No cooking appliances (and right now the only working microwave is in F-Dorm where I'm at)

Of course we do have CO-ED visitation during the following hours
    MON-THU 3 PM until 11 PM
FRI 3 PM until 2 AM
    SAT-Term Break-Days before holidays 12 PM until 2 AM
SUN 12 PM until 11 PM

And I must remind everybody, unlike most slashdotters, I have a girlfriend.

Make it work like a floppy (thumb drive, etc), open the standard except for the PSP game and maybe video formats (give Sony something to keep to themselves for IP reasons) and let the UMD revolution begin. Will this happen, all I can say is Sony will make Beta VCRs again before they open up UMD.

Another thing I noticed with Firefox is that if it uses too much memory quiting the program will not end firefox.exe.
