Why is it surprising that people actually want their business tool to work consistently. This 44 was one of the most unstable releases in awhile that is outright hampering user productivity. This happens a few times a year with these updates but this update is the worst one in years.
There should be no releases schedule. Updates should only be released when they are actually finished and tested free of bugs.
I have been using Firefox since the early days. Sure there were some releases with problems but 44 for me is the worst ever in my opinion. I have completely wiped it from APPDATA and Programs, reinstalled, yet frequent crashes. Crashes immediately if loading from the taskbar in Windows 7. If I use any plugins like Ad Block Plus or Noscript I get high CPU utilization and it sucks up allot of memory. Occasionally it just disappears in the middle of doing something.
Now with the cookie thing which I use frequently in web development and other plugins that will be borked, that's it I am done. They are forcing me to adopt another default for all my work.
I will check out waterfall listed above. I started to look at Palemoon before this and thought do these alternatives have dev teams or just one guy that will some day will disappear?
Who wants to trash a valid working version of 7 or 8 rather than beta test a fresh install of Windows 10. This would be great if the free license was for those who install and beta test a fresh version of Windows 10 on a PC without having to upgrade an existing copy first.
I stopped playing AA3 around 2012 also. I think that was around the time they upgraded the game, ruined it and players left. I used to play Ranch all the time then I came back to a newer version and they had removed it. It looks like the new version has more maps, user submitted ones and new weapons but I did not try it since I thought no one was playing it.
I did not try AA4 since I did not think when I checked they had many players but I see they have 400 players online right now. So maybe it is worth a look to see if they brought back any of that back.
Those old versions of AA may have not be as pretty graphically as the new versions but there was something about the gameplay, the body movement and weapons that just seemed far superior than the new versions.
If only some group could bring back one of the old versions 2.3, 2.5 or 2.8.5 combined with bringing back the thousands of players they used to have online any time of day I would be happy.

I still want the same thing I wanted when I was young, a steady rotation of new music from a variety of the rock genres which today for me is mostly what is on the alternative or indie charts. I really do not understand how people can listen to the same tired old music over and over again. I visit the past as long as it has not been beaten to death, something I have not heard in awhile or something I have never heard before.
The only way I may have calcified is with Country music. To my ears it died years ago. I can listen to Country from the 20s up until the 90s after that forget it unless it is Bluegrass.
