Mario Kart 64 is my favorite game ever, so I could master that, but not showing off to anyone would drive me crazy. The same goes for any sports game.
Tetris Attack is my favorite puzzle game, but it's the most fun with someone else. I used to have evil dreams about this game, which wouldn't be good if I'm by myself on an island.
So, I think if loneliness is going to be a problem, I should pick a game where it feels like someone else is playing. Therefore, I choose Gyromite with Rob the Robot from the NES
When I was in high school, I would have poppy seed bagels for breakfast every morning. When I turned 16 and started applying for jobs, I failed a few drug test even though I had never done any illegal drug. It caused a lot of stress in my family and was quite embarrassing. Even though my parents believed me, I could always sense it nagged them in the back of their minds. A few months ago I saw an episode of myth busters which proved having just one poppy seed bagel can cause you to fail a drug test. I downloaded the show and sent the DVD to my parents to clear my name.
Having stood in line at Best Buy for 16 hours for the Nintendo Wii, it was quite boring. No fights, no one driving by with BB Guns, no one taunting us. There was a big sense of camaraderie and a fun game of soccer in the parking lot.
Aren't Wii developer kits like $2000? Didn't Nintendo even give away many for free? They're encouraging developers to make sweet new independent games for the console, which ultimately makes or breaks the system.
Without the Internet hype, this movie wouldn't have cracked the top 5. People love this movie and it will make money for years to come. I went to the Thursday night screening and one movie-goer snuck a guitar into the theater to play the theme song with his friends. Many people in the audience sang along. What other movie can claim that? As more and more people see it, they'll realize they're getting a campy "b" movie that is as fun as advertised.
There will be some streaming, but with the exception of the USA, every match will be on a major TV network. Even in the USA, ESPN and ESPN2 will show every game in addition to about 10 matches on ABC. Everyone will be watching on their TV's rather than their computer. I'm sure we've all seen the picture of 100 people sitting around a 13 inch TV watching a World Cup match. Unless all those poor people suddenly have computers and know how to stream, there won't be a bandwidth bogdown.
Now my friends will think I got some action when I tell them, "my girlfriend was playing with my Wii all night until she beat it."
who am I kidding, no they won't.
I've played Mario Party with my parents (55 & 51) and sister (21) when I (25) went home for Christmas the last few years. Everyone has a fun time button mashing and I get a little bit trashed with the folks. I showed Nintendo Revolution propaghanda videos to my parents and they cant wait until next Christmas.
It still annoys me to this day that I could only find 19 and 3/4 heart containers on Link to the Past. I can't wait for the Nintendo Revolution comes out so I can play the Zelda series again. I'd really like to see a massive overhead 2D game released.
Hey all, I asked the original question. I hadn't considered asking if anyone from slashdot could help, but if you're near Pasadena, California, Msg me on AIM - jameseyjamesey, or ICQ -6479637. I'd prefer to work with someone who is serious and be a partner on the site. I've learned a lot from the responses. thanks.

this is why I moved on from digg to newsvine for my source of a barrage of user submitted news.

didn't Tiffany Amber Thiessen discover a math theorem or solve a proof and have it named after her? that's geeky and she's hot.

"all" is the operative word. You are the rare exception to women.
the ending of Earthbound made my sister and me cry.

you need some education though, because your double negatives are expressing the opposite point you're trying to make. I know...just bustin balls
